Very happy with the communication of host. Nice, big, spacious place—perfect for a large group. The price Suggestion for improvement: providing a toaster, microwave and some towels would make the place even been better. My only real complaint is that it is pretty remote, you need to drive to do anything.

Responsive host, get in touch immediately after booking and provide clear instructions on checking in. Walking distance to mini mart. Home was clean and had basic amenities. Informed us in advance on wifi failure and even gave us a cake for being apologetic on that. That was very kind, much appreciated!

Very friendly host indeed, easy to communicate with. The villa was spacious and complete suitable for family gathering. Swimming pool so big and clean. Environment so calming, bbq port and small pondok nearby easily for grill and dine in. Nice stay, will planning to come again in the future 😊

Met Connie and her son who were both extremely friendly and hospitable. We really enjoyed the stay and the best part of all, it’s pet friendly and it was peaceful. Being in a private orchard also made us feel secured. Loved that we could cook our own meals and everything was well equipped. The walk through their orchard was also nice especially with pets. Overall, it’s a place we would go again for some peace and quiet to recharge.

This is the homestay to experience life and culture in the classical New Village environment. Except the wooden houses are now all in concrete but the atmosphere, the people and the life style remain quintessentially semi rural and ancient. Everyone knows everyone and visitors stick out like a sore thumb. The surroundings are beautiful - hills, mountains, rivers, waterfalls, streams, quaint kampongs, beautiful Malay homes, fruit orchards, fish ponds, farms. Plenty of delicious stuff to eat and things to do, places to explore. Even the house drains had fishes in them! Madam Ching's place is kept spotlessly clean, neat and tidy. All the amenities are there and she is quick to respond, proactive in suggestions, provides clear instructions. There was no Wifi, the TV was not working but I did not mind since it would have been a distraction to the larger and more interesting world outside. Personally I would have preferred white linens for the bedrooms. An excellent stay, value for money.

The house was super clean! They also provide some hotel slippers but generally I don’t think it’s necessary with this level of cleanliness 😅 We really appreciate the extreme cleanliness as we can stay with confidence and assurance. The sheets and pillows have zero smell, so clean. The host lives just next door. Porch can fit 2-3 cars which is convenient. It’s a single storey house so it’s very easy for families with elderly people. Everything in the house functioned well - air conds, water heaters, induction cooker, tv, etc Very homey vibes, not the modern aesthetic type of home but one that makes you feel like you’re at your grandparent’s house. The neighbourhood has a very “small town feel”. Just few minutes walk to the morning wet market and food court, good place for local breakfast. Only 10-15 mins down to town area where the clock tower is.
