Holiday rentals with breakfast in Basel-Stadt

I recommend Elisabeth's place 100%. She is a great host and the room is very clean, bright and cozy. I felt very comfortable there. The property is quiet and well located, you are at the tram stop in just 5 minutes, the line goes directly to the center of Basel. I was particularly pleased with the delicious breakfast that Elisabeth prepared especially for me at a very early hour. I thank you for everything. I would come back any time.

Jean is a true gentleman. He welcomes you kindly and with his own humor. The room is big and tidy. The kitchen and bathroom are shared with others, but that is easy to do. Jean likes to smoke pipe, and that smell is present in the house. Due to medical conditions, we were extra helped by Jean and we really appreciated his care. A pleasant and welcome place to stay in Basel.

Domenica is a wonderful host!!! She leaves nothing to be desired, extremely helpful, accommodating and super flexible. Thank you Domenica!

Thank you for the lovely stay in Riehen, Diana! We had a very nice time and felt very comfortable! It was great that we could use the kitchen so easily and feel at home in the living room / dining room / garden. Basel was very relaxed and there is a beautiful nature reserve nearby, which is wonderful for walking and jogging. The walk to the fondation beyeler was also very doable. Thanks to the Baselcard, we even saved money. Thanks also for the great breakfast!

Everything was as expected and my sister and friends were absolutely thrilled. Very likeable, friendly hosts, with whom they quickly got into conversation.

Friendly, war and welcoming. We stayed for just the one night on our way from the UK to Italy to break up the drive 1/2 way. It was easy to find and the hosts were quick to respond when w needed anything. We only stayed the one night with our Dow but if you wanted to explore the area and enjoy the scenery it would be a good base to explore from. Very friendly hosts and we will stay again on future trips.

Segio is an excellent Host, very fast communication, convenient location, very close to the city center, 5 minutes walk on foot, markets and tram stops wery nearby, the house is stylish, comfortable, the host is very kind, helpful, appreciates personal space. Makss is a great host. The apartment is super clean and tastefully decorated. We felt at home and had a great time with Makss who is very communicative with positive energy. This is what Airbnb should be! Would recommend to other visitors to Basel.

Staying here with my small dog was so relaxing and wonderful. The amount of places to see and things to do right outside the door made the location superb. There were a few small dog parks right across the street, as well as the tram and bus (which are free with the Basel card!). Kate is a friendly, kind, considerate host and her apartment felt like home. I hope to be back again some day!

Was at Jasmin's for the second time and it was very nice again! Great small and cozy apartment, beautiful balcony, clean bathroom - everything is great overall! I'd love to come back!

Annischa was super friendly and kind and helps us with our bikes. She took great care of the place and the guests. The place is really nicely decorated with beautiful wood and a cool roof top terrace. It’s walkable right to the old town and train station. Just be aware that there’s a nightclub in the first floor.

Very friendly host and welcoming family. You can go there blindfolded.

A very nice stay at Iris’ and Michel’s beautiful upstairs room. Wi-Fi didn’t work in the room but I was allowed to have my meetings from downstairs where the connection was perfect. Thank you so much, Merci beaucoup Iris & Michel <3

Heidi's place suited me very well and I preferred staying in this small town than in Basel city. The tram is very nearby and Heidi arranged a free travel pass for me. Everything was very clean and Heidi is a lovely, helpful person who was very flexible. Having breakfast included was a lovely extra. About 20 minutes walk from the house you can get out into fields and a forest which I enjoyed. A supermarket is very nearby. I didn't try the restaurants preferring to go by tram into Basel for more variety.

Monika's place is very nice, a bathroom equipped with essentials, a bedroom that matches the listing. Nothing more to say. Then Monika, a very kind woman, speaks very well French, but also English. Then his responsiveness is unparalleled. In short, a perfect home and host.

During booking and check in, Yolo was very responsive and friendly and her partner Daniel was home when I checked in, who was also really lovely. They offered their apartment like my own home as I could use the kitchen and bathroom as I wished. However as it is their own home, do expect that they their belongings are around and to be respectful of their space. Yolo even offered breakfast which was a delicious, home cooked Chinese breakfast which I was so happy to have after travelling for a few weeks and missing Chinese food. Thank you it was delicious!! The room was great size, had a desk and they gave me a bottled water and sweets as a welcome present. Only feedback is that they don't have WIFI in the house and rather it's using their phones as WIFI, so when no one was home there was no WIFI (but I had my own data so it was fine) The price was expensive for a room however it was Art Basel week and I booked the room a few weeks before, otherwise would recommend staying here!

Great experience overall, I could not mention a single negative point even if I wanted to. It is a beautiful building in a quite neighborhood but from walking distance to the main station, so one gets to have the peaceful sleeping associated with the easy reach of transportation. Regula is a very nice and is naturally a great host. We even had the pleasure of meeting her charming daughter that prepared breakfast for us. Thank you so much for everything, I can only strongly recommend it!

This was dream place in Basel. The house is beautiful, the room comfortable with a very peaceful beautiful view, discrete but lovely hosts, you want to come back to this piece of heaven!
