Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Barstow

Had a great time at Bryan's place. Closer to the North entrance of JTNP which is less crowded than the West entrance, and the same amount of driving time as the town of Joshua Tree to popular spots like Hidden Valley. 29 Palms is also a nice area with more going on than Joshua Tree. Super appreciative of pet friendly features like a fully fenced-in yard, dog bowls, a dog bed - the pets in our group were very happy. Check in was seamless, and Bryan was super communicative throughout - special thank you to Bryan for letting us know that someone had forgotten something very important after checkout!

James’s place was the perfect spot for us to stay. We were in town with our 2 dogs and the place was so clean and comfortable, and the yard made things so easy with the dogs. We had everything we needed for a comfortable and nice stay and to make the food we brought to our friends’ party. The neighborhood was great and made it easy to walk the dogs, and parking was easy. We parked on the street right outside the entrance but there is an option to park on the property if for some reason there isn’t easy street parking (can’t imagine this happening). There were lots of restaurants around and people walking to nearby places during the day. The location was easy for us to get to Claremont and Pasadena area for things we had planned. James was a great host and while we didn’t really need anything during our stay, he was responsive to our quick messages and we knew if we needed anything he’d respond quickly. We would absolutely stay here again!

Good experience to stay like being at home.

Jenn’s place was so serene. The neighborhood is really quiet and an easy drive to local spots in Joshua Tree or even further to Palm Springs. The house is so well organized and elegantly decorated, and the backyard is incredibly peaceful and quiet. We slept so well, and appreciated how clean everything was. Jenn was very responsive, but also incredibly proactive with clear instructions and lots of wonderful local tips. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it!

This was a wonderfully peaceful place for a long weekend with my sister. The home and yard are beautiful and matched the photos exactly. We enjoyed lots of quiet reading time in the secluded backyard, and did a number of short excursions to the National Park, Pioneertown, etc. The neighborhood has typical sounds for a residential area (barking dogs, motorcycles, etc) but aside from that it was an incredibly tranquil spot. Would definitely stay here again!

Had a fantastic stay in Joshua Tree! The house is close to all the shops and restaurants in town and a very convenient drive to the park entrance. The living room is comfortable and cozy and kitchen/dining area great for cooking. We loved using the fire pit and enjoyed the Joshua Tree in the backyard which made for a great view!

LOVE LOVE LOVE it here. We came for a few days for with our dogs to celebrate our anniversary and now I have 2 loves; my wife and this house. This place was very comfortable, beautiful views and tons to do. I loved waking up and walking out the bedroom slider and enjoying the morning sun. When we come back and stay again we are going to stay longer and check out the fun shops in town. Thanks again.

Our stay at Kelly’s airbnb home was very beautiful and well kept clean for our stay. She responds fast within 20 min or less. She was so kind for letting us leave a little late from check out time. Will definitely be booking again.

The house is beautiful just like the pictures. The host responded quickly to any of our questions and was very accommodating.

We had such a fun weekend here with the grandparents! The transparent pool is such a genius idea - and it was heated to 100 degrees so we were totally comfortable even in early January. We loved the ping pong and roasting s’mores by the fire pit. The Nintendo Switch broke while we were there and they fixed it within a couple hours. The hosts were extremely responsive. The instruction manual was incredibly detailed with labels and photos so we could easily operate the pool, outdoor lighting, and fire pit. Great stay!

What a great place to have a girls retreat. The price is better than other AirBNB's, the place was absolutely perfect. We relaxed, played games, cooked and soaked in the hot tub. Could not have asked for a better experience. Felt safe and had everything we needed. Sarah was a great host!

Very beautiful property in a quiet neighborhood. Lovely views and still a short drive to restaurants and the park. Will stay here again.

We had a great stay! We didn’t pay to heat the pool but took a couple quick plunges in the cold and thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub afterward. We cooked a lot, relaxed on the couch and loved the peace and quiet of it all. Joshua tree was so easy to access, too.

To be honest Marianne made me feel like I was staying with family. She was very informative, helpful,friendly and very much invested in our comfort. This is such a beautiful place, and Lisa is easily the most thoughtful host we’ve ever had. Above and beyond with such lovely attention to detail. We felt welcomed and spoiled immediately. Our dog LOVED it here too!

I came back for my 4th visit, just me and my dog, because it’s such a great relaxation spot, inside and out. I love the deck, kitchen, hot tub and walking the neighborhood. Sandra is very responsive and friendly, so I always know I can reach out if I have a question or want a recommendation. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend her cabin! It’s adorable!

We really enjoy joyed our stay. The house was quiet and peaceful. I enjoyed the unique decor and the record player. My dogs enjoyed the fenced in backyard. We could hear coyotes yipping at night, which was a pretty cool experience for us (the east coast coyotes are much quieter!). The sheets smelled incredibly clean and fresh, as did the towels. The internet speed was great. The neighborhood felt safe. I would definitely stay again if I had to be in the area.
