I am an admirer of Ojibwa beadwork and used pictures of some beautiful examples. Wild rice was abundant here and was harvested every fall. Rice Lake was part of the Bayfield Trail trade route for pipestone, wild rice and copper. Prints and logging artifacts from Rice Lake's history of Knapp, Stout and Company. At its prime it was the largest logging operation in the country. 1st floor, 1 queen bed, microwave, refrigerator, shower, pet free. Currier's Lakeview Lodge is an exclusive property on the east shore of Rice Lake, WI. Our property provides fair trade coffee, pastries from our local Bakery and fresh seasonal fruit every morning while watching the sunrise from our deck. We also offer grills and smokers on the deck to use for cooking and socializing. Nonmotorized boats are complimentary with your stay. NO PET ROOM

Room 7 - The Buckhorn - Curriers Lakeview Lodge

Guests who have visited us were related to Otto Rindlisbacher who owned a local watering hole and tourist attraction called the Buckhorn. It was filled with hunting and logging memorabilia. Deer visit the property. This is a 3 room chalet located on the north end of the peninsula with a view of the lake and the bay. The living room has a queen hide-a-bed, the master bedroom has a king bed and the loft has 2 queen beds with its own deck. This features artwork by local artists and ski memorabilia from Mount Hardscrabble. This chalet also has a fireplace to enjoy and a full kitchen.
