Holiday rentals with lake access in Barren County

Cynthias place was beautiful, quiet, and peaceful, we spent alot of time out on the private court, and inside was very cozy and welcoming. i definitely recommend this stay! Cynthia was also an amazing host, her response time is amazing and shes very friendly. She worked through any hiccup with us that we had!

My husband and I were thoroughly impressed with this place! Everything down to what we needed to cook in the kitchen was well thought out. The home was peaceful, pristine and perfect for our Christmas in the mountains. We also enjoyed walking the mountain bike path behind the house! We feel restored. We highly recommend you stay here!

This place has so much more to offer than the listing indicates. If you’re on the fence about booking this home, don’t hesitate…do it! The layout was perfect for our family, offering 3 spacious bedrooms and 2 baths on the main level with easy access for my elderly mother, and another bedroom, bath and laundry in the basement level for our teen boys offering a bed, futon and sectional sofa. The gaming options were definitely used by them and the lake amenities were an added bonus. The kitchen had all we needed, and the sunroom was a great place for me to get some work done when I had to. The house offers direct lake access-can’t beat the location!

We had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful secluded lake house. After traveling from the the UK and enjoying time in the lively city of Nashville this peaceful retreat was the perfect way to unwind. So serene, waking up to the calming sounds of Nature. Just what my mam and I were looking for, so glad we brought our yoga mats! The house is so beautifully decorated, love all the details. Spotless and so well equipped. Truly felt home from home. Thank you for creating such a special, peaceful spot. Look forward to returning soon!

Our second time staying at a Tim & Shannon lodging (first time was Fishy Business in May 2024), and we knew we would have a wonderful time at their Nature's Calling site. We were not disappointed! Beautiful surroundings, lovely and comfortable cabin with all the amenities needed. Their place is close to my daughter's home so we were able to visit her and have her and the grandkids visit with us. We hope to stay here again, on our next trip out to Kentucky. We stayed here for 2 nights to go to my cousins’ wedding! The property is absolutely beautiful and the hosts Adam and Jessie were GREAT! The decor is boho meets modern meets family fun which we loved! My son and his gf stayed upstairs and my husband and I stayed on the main level ! The snacks they provided hit the spot after our 5 hr drive , the view from the wrap around porch was spectacular, the cornhole boards which we didn’t have time to play were awesome !! Go UK and we love playing bags here at home too! The bonfire area was great to chill around the fire, Seeing the wildlife right in your own backyard was also very cool! It was a perfect little getaway! Check-in and check out was a breeze! We would definitely visit this picture perfect home for a longer stay in the future! Thank you Adam and Jessie for a great weekend for my little family ❤️

Our vacation was great! Mostly because of the lake. It was so warm for most of our stay and the sunset was amazing. It was 5 mins away but we were there almost every day twice! The place was clean and we love the Smore's set prepared for us. Ed was very nice and helpful. It was not that far from the Mammoth Cave and Sand Cave Traihead. We loved the hiking trail very close Brigadoon State Nature Preserve (like 8-9 mins). First time in Kentucky was very successfull. Thank you for the stay!

Lovely weekend stay for the family. I would give it ten stars if I could. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️. The hot tub and firepit were my two favorite amenities. Wonderful lakeside experience!

Our stay had zero problems, no surprises and everything we were told was 100% accurate. The location is very peaceful and safe, the walk to the Lake each day was a great way to start the morning.
