Koko guesthouse is absolutely fantastic! Sam is a great host with a wide knowledge of things to do in the local area & beyond. Had the privilege to try lots of delicious local cuisine. Beach, shops and bars are all within reach via walking or short drive. Thanks Sam for being a wonderful and friendly host, made my time in Gambia truly memorable. 10/10 🇬🇲♥️🙏🏼🇬🇲♥️🙏🏼

The apartment is located fairly close to the Senegambia strip where the main tourist hotels, restaurants and money changers are located. There is a very good local supermarket that sells all the commodities required for self catering. Nearby are a few restaurants but not a great choice. The beach access is quite difficult for anyone with mobility issues. There is a rough uneven track combined with a steep gradient before you reach the beach. Once you have reached the beach you can walk for miles in either direction. Alongside the property is the famous monkey park. Although several tourists suggested a visit there was little need as the monkeys came us us! Although they are cute to look at, care must be taken to avoid leaving doors and windows open as they will take full advantage.

the place was stunning. me and my family we loved it. it was exactly how description, nice, cozy, clean and has everything you need for a perfect stay. Alieu is the best host we had so far, he was always available 24/7. the view from the terrace was amazing, you can clearly see the beautiful ocean and the coast. definitely worth to stay and visit again in the future.

Ruby and Eddie were incredibly helpful with everything we needed during our stay. The apartment was absolutely beautiful, with a stunning view of the ocean. The pool was large and lovely, also overlooking the sea, with charming hemp parasols that created such a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. Honestly, the pictures don’t do justice to how wonderful the area truly is—it’s even better in person! The apartment was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay, and then some. We also had a delightful woman who came to clean every second or third day. She changed the sheets and washed the towels, making sure everything was always fresh and spotless. Overall, everything was fantastic, and I highly recommend this place. It exceeded all our expectations!

Beach room with sea view

This was a wonderful stay. The room was amazing. The doors opened up onto the beach so you really hear the ocean and see it from your bed. Lots of space in the room and lovely hot shower. Kembas the hosy was exeptional. He went above and beyond his duties. He organised all my trips and escorted me, along with his lovely taxi driver Osman. His team are spectacular. Always making sure you are ok. They even built me a camp fire in the evening which was lovely. It is a bit breezy in the evning being so close to the coast so bring something warm with you. I felt totally safe and cared for as a solo traveller. These guys are really lovely. Kembas has such a good heart and he is so funny and entertaing too. You will love it.

Great stay! Maria and Lala were always available to resolve any questions. Many thanks again to them.Convenient location ..close to local shops, restaurants and 10 mins walk from beach. However, this is Africa and it's important to to understand that some things work "differently !" Great for the. adventurous traveller looking to find the 'real ' Gambia'.

The villa was as described and the area was very nice. Daniel the houseguard was very accommodating and couldn’t do enough for us. Pool was lovely and the the villa was very large and spacious. The only drawback was having to pay seperate electricity as it would sometimes go off when it ran out. We would rather have some addded onto the price and not have to worry about it . Would stay again
