In Hovden there is little light pollution and it provides good opportunities to see the northern lights in the period August to March. The midnight sun lasts from mid-May to mid-July, a few weeks before and after this period the nights are as bright as the days.

You'll love my place because of the region in the middle of Vesterålen, Lofoten and Harstad, the kitchen, the outdoor area, the neighborhood, the light, the comfortable bed. My place is good for couples, traveling alone, and furry friends (pets).It's also a quiet area, without the heavy traffic noise as this is not on the main road. Quiet neighborhood.

Our cosy countryside cabin is for rent. The cabin lays in a farmyard with great view over lovely farmland and lake. It is a perfect base for leisure activities such as bicycling, sea kayaking, hiking and fishing or to just relax and play in the garden. In wintertime (from September) you will have the opportunity to spectacular views of the northern light just outside the cabin. In the barn there are both pool and ping-pong at your disposal.

The first part of the access is steep, having physical challenges this place is not for you. The cabin has electricity and water, with access to a camping shower in the shower cabin and sauna.
