Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Barcelos

What a wonderful place. Overlooking beautiful green country vista. Incredible outdoor space with endless lawns, a gorgeous swimming pool and an outdoor dining area with BBQ setup. The indoors is small but cleverly designed. We had such a great time, we just wished we could have stayed longer.

A estadia foi simplesmente perfeita! O espaço é enorme, uma verdadeira chácara, cercada pela natureza e com uma paz que faz a gente realmente desligar do mundo. A casa é confortável, bem equipada, e tudo estava impecavelmente limpo e preparado com muito carinho. Recomendo também as atividades organizadas pelo anfitrião — fizemos um passeio a cavalo na praia que foi simplesmente espetacular, uma experiência inesquecível! Ficou a vontade de voltar no verão para aproveitar a piscina como se deve. Recomendo demais!

Beautiful place to stay, central location in the region. We visited Braga and Porto and further north. Nice recommendations from João and he was always responsive with communication. Best to have a small car as the road up is steep and narrow. The house and annex are very comfortable and well equipped.

Un logement parfait, nous sommes partis en famille avec notre fils de 3 ans, espace jardin clôturé avec trampoline, piscine, toboggan et balançoire. Le logement est décorée avec soin, entre moderne et ancien avec la pierre apparente, vue sur le clocher de l’église! Nous n’avons pas eu le temps de goûter au leitão, mais une chose est sur, nous reviendrons

We absolutely loved the stay at the House of Silence. The location was beautiful, and we were enamoured with the house itself - it was obvious to us that it was put together with a lot of taste, care, and attention to detail. We were warmly greeted when we arrived and afterwards were in frequent communication with the owner, Eleonor. We can't recommend this place enough.

un grand merci à Lucia et ses parents pour leur gentillesse. des pastels de nata nous attendaient à notre arrivée. Nous étions 2 couples. L appartement est spacieux avec 2 grandes chambres (bonne literie) et une belle pièce à vivre conviviale. Notre voiture de location avait son garage privé sous l appartement. Quand on sort du portail, il y a un café, une supérette et la maman de Lucia vend des légumes frais. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour malgré la pluie

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié d'être accueillies par les propriétaires en personne. Logement légèrement excentré mais le centre ville est facilement accessible à pied. Un Intermarché et une boulangerie très proches de la maison.

Le logement d’Édouardo est très bien, la cuisine est spacieuse. La salle d’eau est équipée de tout ce dont on a besoin (lessive, papier wc, serviette, gel douche…). L’appartement est bien placé, proche de la mer et des activités

Séjour parfait. Les personnes sur place sont extrêmement gentils. Le coin est vraiment sympathique. Merci beaucoup pour votre accueil!

A lovely apartment, very spacious and all the basics in there for everything you could need. Very well equipped, plenty of parking, lovely outdoor area too.

Nous avons passé une semaine inoubliable entre amis dans cette maison. Le lieu est encore plus grand que sur les photos et le jardin est magnifique. La piscine, le court de tennis, la table de ping-pong et le billard ont fait fureur. Porto est a 35min et la plage d’Ofir à 10min. Merci pour cette semaine, nous reviendrions sans hésiter !

Ficamos apenas uma noite. Tudo foi perfeito. Casa excelente. Muito maior que aparentam as fotos. Nada de mal a apontar. A Sra. Odete e o marido são usn anfitriões exemplares. Muito obrigado!

V apartmáne som strávila dva mesiace – stal sa mojím portugalským domovom. Byt je skvele vybavený, nájdete v ňom všetko. Bol nový, uprataný, ale na dostupnosť do mesta je lepšie mať auto. Ak sa vrátim do Portugalska, určite sa vrátim aj do rovnakého apartmánu. Komunikácia s hostiteľmi prebiehala bez problémov. Nevadila mi ani poloha na prízemí, balkón je otočený na vstup do budovy, nikdy som nemala problém. Cez cestu je market, Lidl je autom 6 minút. Odporúčam byt všetkými desiatimi.

We really enjoyed our stay! The apartment was cute, and Maria was very friendly and helpful. The apartment is in a rural enclave between Braga and Barcelos, providing easy access by car to surrounding towns. There are three large comfortable bedrooms, a dining room and a large terrace with a great view. The bathroom was newly renovated. A few things to consider: the gas stove was fine, but the oven appeared to be wood-heated, so not practical. One of the 2 bathrooms was outside the apartment, in a shared space downstairs. The pool, instead of a standard above-ground swimming pool, was more like a raised pond. It was good for a dip, but it wouldn’t have been good for small kids (no steps or shallow end) or for swimming (too small). The animals were super cute though city folks like us might be awoken by the roosters ;) There was also noise from the nearby highway. On the whole, we were happy with our stay and would stay again! A cute, convenient apartment with a lovely host :)

Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel chez Olivia et Salvador. Ce couple adorable a un véritable sens de l’accueil : toujours disponibles, attentionnés, avec le cœur sur la main. Ils nous ont fait profiter des trésors de leur jardin: œufs frais, oranges, citrons, avocats… un vrai bonheur ! Leur générosité et leur hospitalité ont rendu notre expérience encore plus authentique et mémorable. Nous recommandons les yeux fermés et espérons revenir très vite !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, le logement proposé était totalement en accord avec ce que nous avions vu sur les photos, très propre avec des meubles de bonne qualité, très calme. La maison est magnifique, tres bien entretenue et le jardin superbe (bravo aux propriétaires pour l’entretien!). André et sa femme sont très agréables et plein d’attentions (par exemple nous avons reçu de la menthe et des citrons de leur jardin). Bien que la maison soit habitée par les propriétaires, le jardin privatif du logement et son entrée séparée donne un vrai sentiment d’intimité. L’accès à la piscine est bien appréciable quand il fait chaud. Bien que le logement soit un peu loin des commerces (seulement une boulangerie et pharmacie à proximité), cela est largement compensé par un environnement très calme et reposant pour des vacances ! Nous reviendrons sûrement lors d’un prochain passage dans la région. Merci André pour votre accueil et à bientôt !

C’était un très bel appartement tout neuf, bien équipé. Je ne pense pas avoir mieux pour votre confort à Braga! En soit, vous ferez vite le tour de la ville, mais l’emplacement est parfait à 5 min de marche du coin touristique en ville. 10/10!

There were three of us women friends going to start the Camino Walk. It was the best experience. Philip let us check in early as we had a red eye from Toronto. Paula met us early and helped us check in. The condo is gorgeous. Perfect for us. So clean and do equipped. From the beautiful towels to the plates to the beach chairs. Everyone was wonderful. I couldn't recommend it more. ! Location location!

All I can say is wow! We spent 11 days staying at Adriano’s apartment and it felt like home! I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in such a well equipped Air BnB. If you could think of it, Adriano had it. In the bathroom there was shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hair dryer and hair straighteners. In the kitchen there was every utensil you could think of and more, I think you could cook a full Sunday roast dinner and have every pan and dish required! We are a family of four, with children aged 5 and 7. They made the most of the swimming pool during our stay and the beach. The pool is cool but refreshing. The sea was like ice but we made good games of jumping the waves and splashing one another. The beach is less than a five minute walk from the apartment and is a must during your stay, even if it’s just to watch the surfers fight the waves. It’s a very peaceful beach! Adriano is a great host and very helpful. We will be looking to stay again if we come back to the area!

Joao was a super great host, very helpful and very flexible on check in which he met us personally to give us a walk through of everything. Very responsive and the place was perfect with a little garden to have coffee in the morning. Great location and enough provisions for our short stay. Highly recommend!

Mieszkanie bardzo przytulne, czyste i bardzo przestronne. Gospodarz bardzo komunikatywny, szybko odpowiada na wiadomości. Otrzymałyśmy bardzo dokładne wskazówki jak dostać się do apartamentu, co było bardzo pomocne. Lokalizacja kawałek od centrum ale dla nas to nie był problem - zależało nam aby apartament znajdował się blisko uczelni (ok. 10 minut spaceru do universytetu). Zdecydowanie polecam to miejsce!

Sehr schöne Wohnung, die alles hat was man braucht auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt. Sehr sauber, ruhige Lage aber dennoch zentral.

Apartamento excelente, não acrescentaria nada. se voltar a Braga será sem dúvida o sítio onde quero ficar.
