Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Banyuwangi Regency

Great communication by email, warm welcome at easy check-in (I arrived earlier than planned; no problem at all) accompanied by coffee and fresh dragon fruit, good conversation in excellent English, comfortable bed and strong fan. Organized a tour guide for Ijen at a very reasonable price, presented me with a hearty and tasty local breakfast upon my return. A short walk to a few local restaurants and the bus station. All in all, perfect for me.

Excellent place. Nice pool, good breakfast, very good laundry service. Hosts were so hospitable and friendly. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Banyuwangi

Loved staying here! Perfect spot for organising climbing Mount Ijen, tucked away it a quiet neighbourhood. The area felt very safe and like you were in your own little haven. Happily stay here again for the amenities it offered!

Really Nice place to spend a couple of days! Super friendly people, amazing atmosphere, great location in the middle of Rice fields.

Very quiet and pleasant place but it takes a scooter to go to the beach of Pemuteran which is about 9 km away. The home cooking is very good. The bed is very large and very comfortable. The snorkeling outings with Wayan are beautiful. Wayan is very playful and very nice! Just like her family!

The place is quite homey and comfortable. The whole place is really cool with multiple hangout spots, a pool and kitchen. Was helpful they had drinkable water to use as well. The hosts were a huge help with organizing things for us ( ijen tour, shuttles and food) and were all super nice. They do mention the sounds you’ll hear like the call to prayer in the ad and trains but it was pretty disruptive to be woken at 330am to it and an announcement every hour on the hour. No fault of their own but if you’re a light sleeper, something to note. The place could be quite warm during the day too even with the a/c on but it was comfortable at night

We had an amazing stay at Bêtah Homestay! Fariz was a wonderful host. Kind, helpful, and always available. The homestay had a peaceful, minimalist vibe and was very clean. We were welcomed with a refreshing drink and served a light breakfast in the morning. During Eid Al-Adha, we were even invited to a traditional lunch with Fariz and his family, which was a beautiful and heartwarming experience. He also arranged our Ijen Crater tour at a great rate. It was smooth, well-organized, and totally worth it. Fariz made sure we had all the info we needed about Banyuwangi, from local food spots to money changers and hidden gems. Staying here felt like being with family. Highly recommended!

Fantastic stay, Nana and Fariz are very very friendly and sweet. The homestay is beautiful , tidy and quiet. The garden is beautiful a little oasis. We were sick on arrival and they took great care to help us recover which was very sweet! Breakfast was included and very tasty. 10/10

We were positively surprised when we saw the beautiful gate and the stylish lobby on our arrival. We were greeted by Tommy’s friend and Co-host Kanung. Kanung was an amazing host. He helped us with the trip to Ijen, took me to an ATM to get some cash, even made me tea when I felt unwell and was always there to answer any questions and help out with anything. My wife got very sick while we were there and she said it was the perfect place to recover, because the room was very comfortable and relaxing. The pictures don’t even do the place justice, the room looks even better in person and the beds were amazing! Same goes for the bathroom, it feels very serene and is just beautiful. The breakfast was by far the best we had on our trip so far. Bonus points for the cute cat that is roaming around :) We would highly recommend staying here!

Lidiya was an extremely communicative and awesome host, she offered many services in addition to the stay. She provides complimentary transportation from the train station I was arriving from. The place itself is a great value, I only booked it for one night for my trip to Ijen. They offered breakfast in the morning after the trip I took and arranged transportation to my next destination, which was Amed Bali (extremely far imo), at a reasonable price. Her husband who drove me to the ferry went a few extra miles for me and helped me shop at a corner store before boarding the ferry, and helped me carry my luggage. What an amazing couple, they are the best hosts I've ever had. Really kind and considerate, I would definitely utilities their extra services. A+++
