What a treasure in the heart of Ubud! It’s near the shopping district and many wonderful restaurants. The house is exceptionally well stocked with everything you need in the kitchen and the bathroom. The air on worked perfectly. The beds were very comfortable. The pool was perfect for a late afternoon dip to cool off or an early morning meditation. The house is equipped with filtered water on demand. It was a pity that we only stayed one night. Next year it will be more.

Communication with the accommodation was flawless. Transfer from the airport and to activities was also available. The furniture and furnishings were a bit outdated and worn. Due to the proximity to the boy and the street, it was sometimes a bit louder. Unfortunately, the supermarket could not be reached on foot. Nevertheless, it was a great stay with great communication and nice people.

This villa was perfect for our stay in Ubud! Peaceful and quiet but still close to the action. The private pool was a godsend on hot Ubud days. Kadek was a really helpful, friendly host: he arranged early check-in for us, transported our suitcase to the villa and sorted a scooter rental for our stay. He also provided super useful extras like plenty of insect repellant and emergency phone numbers. The villa is just off a strip of restaurants, so food is never far away, and it’s only a half an hour walk to central Ubud. We’d happily recommend this place to any couple!

Well maintained property and a very courteous host is what I would like to describe my stay. Location is beautiful.All services are working. Icing on the cake is “Very friendly” nature of host, who is very proactive in looking after guests requirements and is very easy to communicate to.Definitely a must visit. The villa is beautiful to stay in. It had a very peaceful vibe, eye catching art and beautiful balinese furnishings, in amongst the rice fields. Very clean. A perfect spot to stay at, away from the hustle and bustle of what is Ubud is now. Agustin (house manager) and housekeeping staff were so attentive, helpful and friendly. They delivered some groceries (and beer!), organise drivers and bikes for us. Communication was no problem. They made our stay there so easy! At the street address there is no sign (that we could read anyway) to know that you are there. The house is hidden at the back in the fields so you need to follow the small path down, to the right, then up the 2nd to the left. Turn left at the path T intersection at the top. Though the lovely housekeeper ended up finding us and escorted us with our bags up to the villa. I loved watching the fieldman shoo gaggles of ducks into new paddocks. Beautiful sunrises 🥰

Absolutely lovely villa in the Heart of Ubud Bali. Great open kitchen area that allows you to feel part of the outdoors and has all the needed amenities. The 2 enclosed bedroom villas were great for our privacy, and we're nicely temperature controlled with AC for the hot Bali temps. Awesome infinity pool that looked out into the jungle. The whole place was thoughtfully designed. Highly recommend

The best accommodation in Bali! Everything was amazing, the accommodation is far from all the traffic and noise of the city which makes it a peaceful place. Our host was lovely and very attentive to us. It was really great! I would recommend it without a second thought!!

I've stayed at many Airbnb places. this was by far the nicest yet. Pande was the most genuine, sincere, friendly, helpful host. I could go on and on. I came down with some sort of stomach bug before my arrival, and Pande did everything possible to make me comfortable. he fetched medicine and special water. he cooked me whatever I requested for a bad stomach. he was incredible. the place was incredible! I felt like a king in my own castle. it was peaceful and serene. We were treated like we were the most important people in the world. nothing against other Airbnb places, but this place and Pande were truly a rare find. if I could give a higher rating, I would....Pande, you are the best!!

Stunning villa!! Incredibly beautiful grounds, the jungle is like a movie, birds singing in the morning! We literally liked everything! Cozy bedrooms, comfortable large beds, very comfortable mattresses. There is a washing machine with a dryer, a full kitchen with a dishwasher – which is not often found in Bali. Everything is clean and cozy! The staff is very helpful, the girls helped us arrange and iron things. In the morning, we cooked a delicious floating breakfast, thank you Kadek again! And special thanks for the photos in the pool, it's a great pleasure to swim in the pool and the view of the canyon. The villa is so cozy and beautiful that you don't want to leave at all, we will come back here for a longer period of 100 percent! This is a rare case when the photos do not convey the beauty and scale of the villa! Thank you, we are going further north!

We absolutely loved our stay. It’s so beautiful, in a quiet area that’s very pretty and the pool is big. Help and service friendly and easy going, kids loved it, we loved it. Highly recommend, a real stand out.

I honestly couldn’t rate this place higher, from the pool to the view, the living area and the rooms, the whole place was great. Shanty was brilliant at looking after us and anything we needed was provided immediately. A must if you stay in the Ubud area!

I had a pleasant and unique stay at this retrofitted water tower. I would recommend it to others to try it for at least 1-2 days. Pros: - beautiful 360 view of the surroundings since all four walls had windows. I felt like I was in a treehouse. Also had a great sunset view of the volcano in the distance. - host cleaned room daily - great location, it felt quiet and away from the hustle and bustle. Cons: - It is challenging to enter into the water tower, especially if you have large pieces of luggage. - it does get hot during the day even with the air conditioner on at full blast. - there is a lock at the main gate, but someone could easily slip through the large gaps in the stairs. There was no lock on the floor door that separated the water tower and and the outside. - There was a crack at the floor door, which can easily allow mosquitos and lizards in. - There was limited hot water in the shower - you need to go outside to access the bathroom

Danis Villa was just wonderful, the space was perfect for our family and the pool and garden area were so much fun to play in with the kids. It felt very private being set back from the main road but in easy walking distance to loads of yummy eateries. Was easy to get taxis, or have grab or gojek delivered as well. Kadek and Wayan cooked us breakfast each morning which was delicious and they were so kind and thoughtful, helped with recommendations for laundry service and always checked when we wanted the tidying done, so lovely. Would love to come back again.

If you’re browsing Airbnbs before booking your Bali ticket—stop and buy that ticket now, making sure it matches this Airbnb’s availability. From the moment we arrived, Wayan and his team had thought of everything—from airport pickup to having coffee ready with one touch before breakfast. The view and peaceful location away from the crowds were incredibly calming. We mostly stayed in to enjoy the serenity, but Ubud center is just a 30–40 minute scooter ride away—and Wayan arranged a scooter for us in minutes. The massages were fantastic and far more affordable than spa prices, and we had them poolside at home. The team quietly checked in on us throughout the day. One night during a swim, they noticed the pool filter needed attention and handled it before we even asked. Our beer was always stocked as requested, and every meal was delicious. Huge thanks to Wayan and the team—you’re all treasures.

beautiful airbnb, it was cleaned every day while we were out and after buying some soap our washing was also done for us which was very helpful! would loce to be back next time we are in Bali!

The accommodation took our breath away from the first moment. The architecture right on the jungle alone makes the accommodation unique and worth every cent. The villa staff lovingly took care of all our wishes. Communication via messenger service was smooth and courteous. A private driver, who works for the villa, showed us the surroundings and the sights in the Ubud area. Each goal can be freely planned. The accommodation can only be described as positive and will serve everyone as a great starting point for Ubud!

This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for us. It was our first time to live and spend the night in an open house, and also built entirely in bamboo. The house was very well maintained and equipped with everything. Briefly described: luxurious simplicity and fantastic views of the valley. Upon arrival, you will first walk past a "levada" (name used in Madeira, but actually the same principle) up to 3 thatched-roof bamboo houses, whose ours was most open. Decision: FANTASTIC
