Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Bancroft

Our stay was more than we could have asked for. This Airbnb is a hidden gem. We’ve been to many Airbnbs all over the world, and I can tell you this one is really special. The garden is very spacious, with friendly little cows in the background. The inside is also spacious thanks to the beautiful high ceilings. The decor and original church aesthetic they kept makes you feel at home. The outdoor annex for extra guests is so cozy and cute!! it really comes in handy if you are more than two. This Airbnb truly has everything a household needs, from bug spray to doggy bags. We’re usually honest and critical about Airbnbs, and we don’t shy away from pointing out things that could be improved, but with this one, we truly have nothing bad to say. We would come back in a heartbeat!

The nortehaus was definitely an inspiring and well designed space we enjoyed. Nestled in the middle of nature, you can definitely feel the calmness and quietness of it all. Parker was responsive and made sure our stay was seamless. Would book again!

Tracey & Rodney were great hosts only matched by their charming home and surroundings! I would rate 6 stars if I could - highly recommended. This is the second time we've stayed at the Globe House in Prince Edward County. We found even more to love the house and Prince Edward County in general. Fred's always been so accommodating and quick to answer any questions we had, something we appreciate about a good host. Waking up to a wide array of birds at the feeder and falling asleep to the moon, stars and fireflies in (often) perfect view really makes this remote stay feel even more magical; like being in a fantasy land. The best part is that although it feels remote, it's only a 15 min drive to the biggest town in PEC. The place is always well kept, clean and spacious. We're already making plans to come back!

My husband and I just needed somewhere to stay for the night before getting to a friends house and this was the perfect place for it! Extremely clean and perfect location

Highly recommend Prince’s place! It was exactly as described, was in a great location and was extremely well equipped. Prince was super communicative and checkin/out was quite simple. Great spot for a weekend away!

Art’s place is one of the best places I’ve stayed at. It’s a big property with lots of space. The waterfront was pristine with clear water and no weeds. The interior has plenty of space to play games, enjoy the view and simply just relax. We would love to spend an entire week there the next time if Art would welcome us back.

Our overall experience with Srishti's listing was excellent. The host was very eaisly reachable, and extremely kind. The property was well maintained and met all our expectations. The hot tub was the best ! The property is situated right across the lake making the view so beautiful, enjoyed just being lazy on the balcony. Would definitely recommend this to anyone that wants to get a way for a few days where nature is at it's best.

We stayed at the Marmora Retreat this past weekend with 16 girls and could not have had a better time! The property is beautiful, including a large deck with tons of space to play games and chill in the nice weather. Despite it raining for half of our weekend, the house's layout provided a lot of space for us to play games, relax, cook, and enjoy each other's company. The beds were super comfortable, and we all departed feeling refreshed after a weekend full of laughs. We are already talking about returning for another weekend during the summer to take advantage of the pool! We highly recommend the Marmora Retreat, and thank you so much, Brendan, for providing a space for all of us to get together comfortably!

We had a wonderful stay at Susan & Craig’s cottage by Rice Lake! The place was peaceful, clean, and beautifully located—perfect for a relaxing getaway. One of the highlights was getting early access to their lovely pool, which was such a thoughtful gesture and made our trip even more enjoyable. Susan & Craig were kind and responsive hosts, and their attention to detail really showed. Would definitely recommend staying here and hope to visit again!

We have stayed at Bertrand’s place a couple of times now and highly recommend this. It is a lovely home and very private. Bertrand is the perfect host…very helpful and responds quickly all the time.

In een woord; fantastisch! Wat een geweldige plek, mooi huis en hartelijke gastvrouw. We voelden ons direct thuis en hebben genoten van dit mooie paradijs. Fijn dat we zelf konden koken in de goed uitgeruste keuken. En binnen zijn er de heerlijke relaxstoel en bank terwijl je buiten ook diverse fijne plekken hebt om te genieten van de rust en stilte.

Kiki's place is like a little piece of heaven with a lake attached to it. If you want quiet, comfortable, and cosy, you don't have to look any further than this.

Very cozy cabin. Has everything you could need, all what you have to bring is your clothings. We even had the chance to taste their homemade maple syrup! Close enough to Bancroft but still tranquil, nobody can access the cabin but you. We saw people stopping by on the otherside of the lake but it feels OK and not invading, it is far enough to not care. Wildlife was abundant. We did not have much mosquitoes or annoying bugs outside and literally none inside. We went there as a couple with a dog and, once used to the space the cabin offers, did not feel squeezed, although it is not huge. Hosts were very kind and responsive. If you like small, serene and cozy places, this is a must try.

Really enjoyed our stay. No complaints, would stay again in the future. Thanks again!

We were very pleased with this airbnb for so many reasons beginning w location (2nd to none in town), cleanliness (absolutely spotless), comfort (everything we could have asked for and more) communication (see below) and price (very reasonable) The hosts were exceptional with their communication and we will definitely plan on booking w Janis and Carrie again! 5☆☆☆☆☆+

What a beautiful, peaceful place. My wife and were looking for a quick getaway/workcation, and this was the perfect spot for it. Everything we needed in a cozy, comfortable cabin-y spot. Being on the river and enjoying the falls nearby was especially great. The house is great, and very comfortable all-around. We're looking forward to coming back and enjoying in different seasons. The host was great and communication had everything we needed.

We stayed at Cherry’s for two nights with a group of 8 adults and 2 small dogs, and the experience exceeded our expectations. The home was beautifully decorated, clean, and felt warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Cherry was a fantastic host—friendly and quick to respond to any questions we had. There was plenty of space for all of us to hang out comfortably, whether we were relaxing on the porch, enjoying the BBQ area, gathering in the dining space, or unwinding in the cozy family room. The kitchen was impressively well-stocked with everything we needed, which made cooking and group meals super easy. We also loved the private dock and the scenic trail leading to it—though it was too chilly to swim, it’s definitely a highlight for warmer months. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend Cherry’s place to others looking for a relaxing and comfortable getaway.

Kelly’s campsite location was wonderful! We had quite the weather during our stay but the view, cleanliness and complete privacy was so worth it. My two dogs absolutely loved the freedom and pathways all around the campsite, the privacy on them was amazing for my one reactive dog (we went for his birthday hahaha). I would definitely recommend lots of bug spray and maybe something to deter the gnats as they are very fresh in May lol, but wonderful spot for a view. This was only 10 minutes away from Bancroft so super close if we needed any last minute things, I would recommend staying here!
