Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Balsfjord Municipality

Very nice house, spacious, very comfortable and functional. You can eat in the kitchen on a central island or in the dining room to choose from and the seating area with wood burning stove is very comfortable. The area is very quiet and the setting under the majestic mountains. We came in winter and the house is very well heated. A fantastic stay at Trond's!

We stayed at Nina's place for 4 nights. From check-in, to the lovingly prepared house, the preheated rooms to the fully equipped rooms, to very helpful information about the weather and the absolute accessibility, everything worked out wonderfully and we felt very comfortable. Thank you Nina

We wanted somewhere comfortable, warm with amazing views across a fjord. This house was perfect. We enjoyed watching the landscape change with the weather. We saw fantastic Northern Lights on the two clear nights from inside the house, but had to go outside as they were all over the sky. A good place for photography. The house is extremely well equipped and has everything you need, including snow shoes which enabled us to go on two walks in the deep snow. The log burner was fantastic with plenty of logs and the WiFi was great. Anne was an amazing host keeping in touch and updating us on a road closure due to an avalanche risk. We would definitely stay here again.

The moment you open the door to Øyvind's beautiful house you find a sense of peace, it is so beautifully designed with the giant picture window looking out over the landscape and great views over the valley. Høyrostua is spacious and has a very clean look, warm and cosy, so nice you almost want to stay indoors all the time! The kitchen is fully equipped and there is plenty of room to find little quiet areas to escape to. The location is well placed to visit picturesque places like Senja Island and the local nature. Øyvind was always quick to respond with helpful tips and answered any questions we had. We would definitely recommend this treasure of a place!

Great house and short distances to the mountains of that area.

We spent a week in this absolutely beautiful and cozy house. The living room is very stylish and cozily furnished, so we could spend many beautiful evenings in front of the fireplace and relax optimally. The kitchen is super equipped with everything you need. The bathroom also very nice with underfloor heating and dimmable light. The quiet and peaceful location on the fjord is unique and looks like a picture book. In addition, we were lucky enough to see the northern lights directly from the house on most evenings. 😍 The hosts Kari & Øystein were extremely helpful, friendly and the communication was impeccable. We would come back any time ☺️🙏🏻✨

Fantastic host, super welcome, amazing location (view on the fjord, great for northern lights, can stay hours in front of the big window just watching outside), extremely good house with everything available (including many spices, a great welcome package, wood for the fire, etc). Clean, peaceful and spacious.

The apartment is wonderful and for those who do not need luxury and enjoy nature great. We looked at the fjord from the living room windows and watched sea eagles, were collecting mussels and meeting wild reindeer. The apartment is very cozy, we felt right at home. We were particularly pleased with the wood stove. Heidi also welcomed us warmly and gave some tips on what to do and look at. That was great :)

Very nice and spacious apartment, lots of space and everything you need for a great stay. Very quiet location and many opportunities to do something to go to Tromsö or Senja. Unfortunately, we did not see the aurora lights, as the weather did not play along, but the hosts can't do anything for that of course. Thanks very much again! We highly recommend this place!

Great Stay with an Amazing View! We had a wonderful stay at Peder’s place in Tromsø! The location was a bit far from the city, but it was perfect for enjoying the peaceful surroundings and breathtaking views. The highlight of our trip was seeing the aurora on our last day—an unforgettable experience! The place was cozy and well-equipped, making it great for cooking and spending quality time with family. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway with stunning scenery, this is a great choice.

The host had bought emergency food when we arrived late at night and provided a 6-wheeled vehicle for the children. It was popular😊 We would gladly came back!

The stay went on rails, well marked so you could find your way. Easy to lock up, the place was as expected, everything you need is there. Recommended further.

Lian Gard is beautiful, idyllic and quiet location. We enjoyed the quiet very much! We enjoyed the young goats and the cat very much! Marianne was very hospitable and lovely! The heartbeat of the farm! The whirlpool, which she shoveled for us, was a highlight. Perfect for unwinding and enjoying nature. Thanks! We will be happy to come back! :)

Beautiful surroundings in a farmhouse setting, excellent base for splitboarding in the region. Sauna was superb.

Very pleasant stay, the accommodation totally matched our expectation to go skiing nearby. Nice and functional accommodation. Very nice view on the fjord with a beautiful indoor barbecue.

Dear Anne, thank you very much for having us! We have stayed at Anne’s house for almost two weeks and with two different companies: first with friends and then with my husband’s parents. We had amazing time both times. The best things about the house: 1. The view is incredible. Having your first cup of coffee with this view is priceless 2. The house is right on the ski slopes. We could ski in/ski out, making it easy to go ski even for a short period of time 3. The jacuzzi is amazing. We used it sometimes during the sunset time and sometimes late at night for Aurora watching 4. You can see Auroras right from the living room and the jacuzzi is really the best for watching them since you don’t get cold 5. This is the best stocked house I have ever stayed at - it had everything. We could really feel that it’s Anne’s second home, not just a rental house Anne is great as a host as well: friendly, responsive and helpful. We felt welcome and had the best time!

The cabin is perfectly located in the cabin area, sheltered at the end of a road and with a lovely view. The cabin contains everything you could need to have a great stay, the kitchen is richly equipped, large TV to watch movies in the evening and bedrooms with good beds. The cabin is a great location for ski-in and ski-out and has a large porch with good sun conditions. Recommended!

The accommodation was perfect, the house is very well equipped and is in a very quiet location.

We wanted somewhere comfortable, warm with amazing views that was away from other people and private, but not totally remote. This cabin was perfect. We enjoyed watching the landscape change with the weather. You could see the Northern Lights on clear nights from inside the cabin, with mountains in the foreground. A great place for photography. The log burner was fantastic with an unlimited supply of logs and the WiFi was great. The cabin is in the region of the Lyngen Alps. Siri was an amazing host keeping us updated on conditions in the area when the weather changed. She let us know when there was a high risk of avalanches, when the road had been temporary closed and when there was no water in the whole area due to an avalanche. She told us where there was a collecting point for everyone locally to get fresh water from and arranged for someone to be there for us. The next day all was fine! This is life in Arctic Norway. We loved it! We would definitely stay here again.
