We spent 6 nights at Gry's home. Beautiful view from house, very comfortable living room and rooms, good location for different skitours. Gry is a very nice and warm person. We loved everything there (also the cats)! I will recommend to friends.

Thank you very much for having us in your beautiful home Maret. Upon request, some fishing gear and the boat was ready for our use. The sauna was amazing and the house is super cosy and has everything you need. What really put this place on the map for us, was the extraordinary views! Absolutely breathtaking. We loved spending time just chilling together and staring at the view. We will miss it dearly. Maret was super responsive and helpful and friendly. We hope to be back again in the future. Thanks again for everything, we had an amazing time 😊

By renting the little cabin, Marianne and George open the door to their little paradise. In their place you will feel love, real nature and one of the most beautiful landscape ever, even the drive to and from Tromso is breathtaking. For people seeking a true experience in nature this is the perfect place. The cabin is remote, a step back in time, no mod cons and this is it’s beauty. A cosy, warm little haven in the beautiful wild. It is well thought out - all the instructions given by Marianne and George, and noted around the cabin ensure your stay is seamless and answers all the questions you might have - it is important to listen to them, especially as you are in the middle of the wild, responsible for your own warmth and staying in someone’s home. You are stepping back in time, at one with nature. This is a magical place. Marianne and George are kind and welcoming people. In the middle of an area flooded with guides and tourists and impersonal experiences they are a true find. Passionate about nature and the aurora, experts in the region (Marianne is a local). If you’re looking for other experiences whilst staying in the area - they are the perfect people to ask (especially aurora hunting). Going to the cabin is a truly unique experience. We are leaving with stars in our eyes and will definitely return.

Sehr schöne und geräumige Wohnung, viel Platz und alles vorhanden was man braucht für den tollen Aufenthalt. Sehr ruhig gelegen und viele Möglichkeiten etwas zu unternehmen um nach Tromsö oder Senja zu fahren. Polarlichter haben wir leider nicht gesehen, da das Wetter nicht mitgespielt hatte aber dafür können die Gastgeber nichts natürlich. Vielen lieben Dank nochmal! Wir können diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen!

Séjour incroyable dans un environnement maginifique, calme et paisible. Les hôtes ont été très gentils, avenants et avaient le soucis qu’on passe un bon séjour.

Die Wohnung ist wundervoll und für alle die keinen Luxus brauchen und Natur genießen super. Wir haben aus Wohnzimmerfenster auf den Fjord geschaut und Seeadler beobachtet, waren Muscheln sammeln und haben wilde Rentiere getroffen. Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich, wir haben uns gleich wohl gefühlt. Besonders gefreut haben wir uns über den Holzofen. Heidi hat uns auch herzlich willkommen geheißen und einige Tipps gegeben was wir machen und anschauen können. Das war super :)

The place was nice. We enjoyed staying at the location. We were able to see northern lights from the stay itself.

Vi hadde en nydelig påske i denne hytta. Dette er andre gang vi leier hytta og er meget fornøyd med både beliggenheten og fasilitetene. Vi hadde med to barn på 3 år og de storkoste seg også. Så denne hytta anbefales for både voksne uten barn og familier som vil ha en utflukt i rolige omgivelser. Bjarte er en meget god vert, svarer raskt og er vennlig innstilt. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake en tredje gang.

Wir waren 11 Personen und sind zum Skitouren gehen gekommen. Das Haus ist super eingerichtet für eine große Gruppe Skifahrer mit einem praktischen Trockenraum im Keller, einer großzügigen und gut ausgestatteten Wohnküche sowie zwei große Bäder und zwei Toiletten. Der Jacuzzi mit schönem Blick auf den Fjord wurde viel benutzt. Es gibt zahlreiche Skitourenmöglichkeiten in der näheren Umgebung. Die Nordlichter waren faszinierend. Hovard hat immer sofort und hilfreich auf Fragen geantwortet. Wir werden das Haus weiterempfehlen.

Charles è un host veramente affabile,affidabile,disponibile e generoso. La casa è dotata veramente di tutto quello di cui si può avere bisogno. La casa è molto bella,ordinata,confortevole e calda. È un posto molto tranquillo e rilassante con una vista stupenda sul mare. Charles si è dimostrato disponibilissimo e ci ha dato un sacco di consigli utili.

Elises Haus ist perfekt und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es ist sehr gemütlich , sauber und es hat ein riesiges Fenster im Wohnzimmer , von dem man einen tollen Blick auf den Fjord hat.Die Küche hat alles, was man braucht und die Lage ist perfekt für das Beobachten von Nordlichtern und wir hatten 3 Nächte hintereinander das Vergnügen. Alles in allem......eine 100 prozentige Empfehlung......Danke an Elise für diese schöne Unterkunft

This was a lovely house with a special spirit (living;-) )in it. An old farm house which feels like visiting your grandma, very cozy, kind and welcoming feeling immediately Beautiful views from the windows,lots of space for our group of a Grandma, a teen, and two kiddos &2 adults. We visited Tromså twice and the 1hr drive is really manageable. Tove was really helpful and responded quickly when we had some issues with the fire alarms. Its also nice to get a break from some of the modern additions to our life: a few days without wifi, dishwasher and whatever else is highly recommended.

I stayed here with my husband and 2 boys (age 5 and 7) and we all had a great time. The cabin is spotlessly clean with lovely furnishings and a wood burner, making it super cosy and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and you have to drive past the supermarket to reach the cabin so it's easy to pick up things. There is under floor heating in the hallway and bathroom which was great for drying off wet and snowy clothes. The stairs up to the top bedroom are a little steep so the children slept downstairs we had the cosy room at the top. Beautiful surroundings with a great garden for the boys to build snowmen and a gorgeous little stoney beach just across the road. Kari and Oystein are incredibly kind and friendly, very quick to respond to messages and help advise. Oystein came around one morning to ensure there was grit on the path so we didn't slip and showed us where a big eagle was living in a nearby tree. I highly recommend the cabin and would love to return!

Vivi‘s Haus ist ein absolutes Highlight! Wahnsinnig toll gelegen, wunderschöne Aussicht über den Fjord in die Ferne. Modernes schickes und super wohnliches/bequemes Haus. Wir konnten abends im Whirlpool auf der Terrasse den Polarlichtern im Himmel zusehen. Von der Terrasse hinab ging die selbst „gebaute“ Rodelbahn den Berg hinab. Es hat uns im Haus an nichts gefehlt, lediglich die Sauberkeit war beim Checkin nicht ganz wie erwartet, das wurde uns jedoch glaubhaft als bedauernswerter Einzelfall dargelegt. Auf auftretende Probleme reagierte Vivi sehr zeitnah und stand stets für Anfragen zur Verfügung. Wir würden jederzeit wieder unseren Urlaub in diesem Haus verbringen! Im Winter ein absolutes Traumhaus eingebettet in tiefen Schnee umringt von viel Wald, Fjord und Berg!

Mooie cabine op een prachtige locatie. Zeker een aanrader.

Een prachtige locatie met heel veel ruimte binnen en buiten. Het uitzicht over het fjord is fantastisch. De kinderen (en volwassenen) hebben zich om het huis vermaakt met het zoeken naar schelpen en mooie steentjes. Er loopt een sneeuwhaas om het huis en ook de otter is 2x gespot. Bijna iedere avond hebben we genoten van het noorderlicht. Prachtig!!! Binnen is er ontzettend veel ruimte. Ideaal met 4 jonge kinderen. Ze hebben ontzettend veel plezier gehad, mede door de spelletjes die door Elisabet voor ons geregeld waren. We hebben een aantal keer een vraag gesteld en kregen daar direct adequaat antwoord op. Ook de tips over de omgeving waren erg fijn. Mooie autoroutes, maar zeker ook in de buurt is veel te bezoeken, wandelen en te zien. We hebben een prachtige week gehad. Triptip: Fjordcruise vanuit Tromso. Een 3,5 uur durende boottocht met gids die uitleg gaf over de omgeving, wildlife etc.

We chose Ingrid's place to enjoy the beauty of the area and it did not disappoint. The house is comfortable, well equipped and very spacious. Some of our group was lucky enough to see a Northern Lights show on the first evening! If you're looking to get away from it all in Northern Norway, this is a fantastic place and you won't be disappointed.
