The cabin is located by a river and water. The canoe can be used freely if you want to paddle in the river. Kjerringnesvannet is salmon-bearing water and you can fish in the water if you buy a fishing license. The cabin is located in the forest with lots of great hiking areas near the cabin and around Vesterålen.

Opplev fantastiske Hanøyvika ved Raftsundet. The property has panoramic views of the strait where the Hurtigruten passes twice a day. The house was completely remodeled a few years ago and features a new kitchen and open living space. Outdoors we have a great deck with grill for summer cooking. The house is on a quiet location with magnificent view of the sea and the surrounding mountains. A SUP-Board (30 Euro) and a double kayak (40 Euro) is sometimes available to rent.

There is also fine ski conditions during the winter. Close by is Møysalen National Park where you find Raftsund/Trollfjord few minutes away by boat, marked hiking trails, a local shop and cafe. There will also be a small boat to use for short trips on the sea.
