Holiday houses in Baker

Well appointed beautifully decorated comfortable home in a beautiful natural setting. Truly enjoyed the night sky from the deck. So close to the entrance to the national park and convenient to a very nice general store and a restaurant. Patricia met us for the check in to make sure all our needs are met and answer all our questions. She’s a top-notch host!

First, Kym was a great host: clear, concise and gave timely communications. Second, the cabin is remote and peaceful. Serene. Third, spotlessly clean. Fourth, I brought a telescope and marveled at the celestial sky. The moons of Jupiter were incredibly crisp and clear. I drove up from Las Vegas to explore the Great Basin NP. Load up on groceries. I highly recommend this cabin.

Very cool place, exactly as described. Would be a great place to rent for a hunting trip. Will be back!

Given there isn't much (or any?) lodging near Great Basin National Park we had admittedly low expectations but trusted the other reviews. The truth is this house would be an amazing place to stay anywhere! Spacious, full kitchen, private dark location - great for stargazing. We especially liked the washer/dryer to get caught up on laundry. It was just two of us but even if all 3 bedrooms were full it would still feel like a roomy house. Highly recommend!

I loved Kym’s charming mountain studio! Location and view were sublime and it was so quiet! The studio was really well thought out and the furniture was comfortable and clean. My furry friend and I couldn’t have enjoyed our day more there. A visit to Great Basin NP (15 mins away) when you are in the area is a must.

What a wonderful lodge! The surroundings were gorgeous with views of the mountains and endless landscape of junipers and desert flora all around. Not to mention the Great Basin Park was literally right around the corner - I don't think it's possible to stay closer unless you were camping. The suite with shared kitchen was really well organized and decorated (loved the photo prints, some truly exceptional local photography). The entire space was also SPOTLESS - I am seriously impressed at how clean the place was given how much dust and dirt must woft around the area. Janile was also very a responsive and gracious host. 100% would stay again!

This place is spectacular! The view, no matter the time of day, was breathtaking (I even got up for sunrise)! The furniture and arrangements are comfortable and the kitchen is well-appointed. We met family here and captured two of the other accommodations in the lodge. It was the perfect place for a weekend reunion, especially with the game room for the teens.

Cute and Cozy cottage. Well equipped kitchen. Nicely decorated giving a homey feel to the place. Would definitely stay again if in the area.
