Our stay at Vila Aura exceeded our expectations. Myself, my husband, and 5 friends took the weekend to celebrate our elopement and we were assisted with everything along the way. They recommended great add ons like wine tastings and a private chef-which we utilized. The two things that we wish were included was laundry and towels for the pool. If we could've stayed longer, we would've!

We absolutely loved staying here. Ricardo was super friendly and helpful. Quinta Freiera is a stunning farm with loads of grape vines, lemon trees, orange trees, passion fruit, etc. It was so special to stay in a house that has been in his family for over 200 years. I highly recommend this quinta!

A beautiful house, the perfect place to spend time with family and friends. Host was very communicative and the house was spotless. We throughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend if you’re visiting the Douro Valley!

Absolutely loved this place and can’t wait to go back!!! Adrianne was great dropping by each morning to have a little tidy in the kitchen and make breakfast. The view of the Douro valley from poolside and the rooms was incredible. Can’t say enough good things about our stay!

The space of D. Fátima is excellent. The conditions are the ones that are presented and it is an excellent place to spend a few relaxed days. D Fátima was very helpful throughout the stay and was always available for whatever was necessary. A place to revisit, no doubt!

Amazing place ! It's even nicer than the pictures. Best Airbnb we ever stay with very beautiful house by the water with nice garden, terrace, gorgeous view. You will not feel bored when staying here with SUP, Kayak or just swimming on Douro River ( summer time). Sarah is very nice owner host. She wait for our checking in to explain everything and she gave us a nice recommendation for wine tasting at Quinta de Sao Bernado. We will definitely come back to stay here since this time 2 nights are a bit short for us.

Very nice house with everything you could want for a quiet and comfortable stay in a beautiful surroundings and amazing view. We were a group of 7 people and we enjoyed every minute staying in the house, making good use of the pool, outside area, kitchen and bbq. Jose Manuel and Sofia were great hosts, providing good and swift answers eveytime we needed. Short note regarding driving. The roads in this side of Portugal can be curvy with a lot of hills, so we recommend taking good time and drive slowly. Apple and Gggle Maps can be a little tricky in this side of the world as sometimes it can take you to narrow streets only because it makes the route shorter by few meters so usually it is best to stay on roads marked as national roads (N***).

Beautiful estate nestled in the hills of the Porto area. Very nice discovery and all the ingredients present to have a good time with the family. The meeting of animals present in the estate as well as the services are real plus. Thank you so much!

Very large house with everything you need. There were 14 of us and we occupied 7 rooms, each with a bathroom. The refrigerator failed and Tiago replaced it the same day. Perfect place to visit the Douro and the surrounding towns but a little far from Porto. Access to the house is via the back street.

We really enjoyed our time here. The house is wide, warm and with a lot of stuff to do. We felt comfortable and entertained during our entire stay.

A great place for a big family looking for peaceful surroundings and beautiful scenery. On rainy days the the ground floor with all the facilities were a great asset for the younger generation

Really excellent and large house that has been tastefully updated and renovated to modern standards. Great for our multi-family vacation to the Douro Valley. The kitchen was large with excellent modern appliances, and the entertainment room and grounds were ideal for our children. This is an excellent place to rent in the Douro Valley.

We had a great stay. Perfect home for family holiday. Very well equiped kitchen and other very comfortable spaces other. Outdoor space is stupendous with a fabulous view over the Douro river. Sofia and José were fantastic hosts. Always available and very friendly. We recommend it and will be back!

Perfect home for a family weekend. Very spacious and with a beautiful view. The hostess welcomed us very well, helped with all the necessities and still left wines from her winery for our tasting. We will be back!

Absolutely lovely place! Lucia was very accommodating to my daughter, our doggie and myself. While my daughter enjoys her time in the water in the pool upstairs, the doggie went for many swims in the river 50meters down the road. A perfect place for a rest on a warm early summer day!

Our stay at Cristina's went very well. We were in a real paradise. The location is wonderful with the bird 's-eye view of the Douro. Each outdoor space is very well laid out. The equipment in the house is very complete. Nela who greeted us is very available. She was there to pick up and take our luggage to the villa when we arrived. She had prepared us for the first morning a great breakfast. Cristina our host is very responsive with every request. We had a great week with our family. We recommend this place for a stay for families or groups of friends.

Excellent stay! The place is super calm, ideal for those who want to relax and escape the rush of everyday life. It was all very clean and organized, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
