Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Axarquía

10/10 location with a gorgeous 5star view. Near excellent restaurants, bars and shops. Not to mention only a 14 minute drive to the clear water beaches of nerja. This Airbnb will give you all of the above with beautiful views in every room of the house to the interior Spanish touch on the inside lovely would be an understatement. Thank you Jaqueline for being a tentative host as well.

Armelle’s place was just as described and had everything you needed. The many stairs and levels merely added to its charm. Spent several evenings on the terrace with a glass of wine and watched the sun fade away. While the village can be busy during the day it soon quietens down towards evening as the day trippers and tours depart, then you feel like a local. There are enough shops to provide all your groceries, the good people of Frigiliana always willing to assist if needed. We look forward to returning one day.

A superb villa, very spacious and clean. Just a note that it is at the top of a small mountain but wow when you get to the top the views are truly spectacular. A great spot for exploring the area and Ubers are easy to get for trips into Malaga, would highly recommend.

Mateo and his parents were amazing hosts. they were super responsive, helped in anyway they could. The home was unbelievably stunning, up in the mountains with breathtaking views. the home itself was very new and super clean. It had all the utensils you would want in your own home, so cooking was a joy! One of the best Airbnb stays we've been to. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

The house was amazing - spotless, comfortable beds, very clean throughout, very useful washer and dryer, and the AC was great - nice and cool. Our host Monica was very quick to respond to any questions and was able to lower the AC temp at my request remotely on her phone app (the minimum was set at 23 but I wanted it colder). The view of the Alhambra from the rooftop terrace was a million bucks. We could see the terrace from the Alhambra as well. The house is just steps away from restaurants, groceries and lots of touristy shops. We arrived from a super fancy hotel in Sevilla but felt right at home here. It was great to have so much space for our family of 4 to be together, and also be able to retreat to our separate bedrooms for some peace as well. And the washer and dryer were in a separate room - lots of other places have just a washer, often in the kitchen. That let us pack a lot less which can’t be underestimated. Everything about this house and host was perfect.

What a wonderful time we had at Casueña. Alicia and Jorge were so welcoming, helpful, friendly, and fun. They met us at the villa and showed us everything we needed to know, and then were always on hand for anything else we needed. The villa was so well equiped, including basic food, tea, coffee, and fruit to get us going. Also, on the first morning, Alicia and Jorge gave us a basket of eggs from their own chickens! We loved the beautiful furniture, artwork and ornaments which all added to Casueña's charm. Since the weather was hot we spent most of our time in the stunning garden and lovely pool. Beautiful mature plants, shrubs and trees made the garden feel magical, as did the many birds who visited including a familly of swallows. A short trip (about 2 miles) down to the village of Santa Rosalía provided a good supermarket (open every day), cafes, and restaurants. Thank you Alicia and Jorge - you are very special people and we will definitely be back to visit you and Casueña.

This house is nestled near the top of a hill and offer marvelous views of the bay and beach of La Herradura. The house offers great rooms and plenty of space to share. The pool and deck offer a great place to relax and enjoy the views. Victor is a great host and provided great communication and suggestions of things to explore locally.

This is a great apartment in close proximity to many cafes, restaurants, bars, and main attractions. It is clean, spacious, bright and airy. Air conditioning keeps the entire apartment very cool. Lots of towels and beach towels there. Beds are very comfy. No noise at night. Juan left recommendations for many places which was very useful. He responds to questions very quickly and is very helpful and nice. The parking spot was very convenient as we rented a car for a night to go down to coast. We also rented electric bikes overnight which is a great way to get around and could lock them up safely in the garage. For our older teens going out at night it was perfect as it is only approximately a 10 minute walk to get home and it feels very safe. I would highly recommend this place.

Gary and Denise are great hosts. The appartment is clean, great and comes with a wonderful terrace. You can stay there with 4 people. Couples or singles who dont mind sharing a bedroom with two. Lots to do around town, nature and close, also by trein to Granada.

The Duck house was an amazing stay. Everything was perfect, our host Andrew was very friendly and a lovely person to talk to. He was always available to help us out if we had any questions and also always asked us if we needed anything. The pool is completely private and secluded and is not visible to anyone around. We felt very comfortable in the Duck house and felt right at home. The history behind the house was also very interesting to hear about from Andrew. He also gave us really good recommendations for gorgeous places around the area. Only thing to keep in mind is you have to be cautious while driving up to the apartment through the dirt road, but this was not really an issue for us. We will definitely be visiting again! We can only recommend this place :)

We enjoyed our stay in Frigiliana to the fullest. The place was beautiful, very clean and lovingly decorated – just like in the photos. We were particularly enthusiastic about the great terrace with breathtaking views. The surroundings are simply enchanting – Frigiliana is a picturesque, quiet village with lots of charm, and at the same time you are quickly on the coast or in nature. Everything was well organized, check-in went smoothly, and communication was friendly and straightforward. We would come back anytime – absolutely recommended

This Airbnb in Mijas was spectacular! The views from the balcony are mesmerizing, especially when you can see the African coast on a clear day and the moonlight reflection on the sea. The place itself was very well decorated and felt very cozy and homey. Had all the essentials and more to add some character and charm. The bathrooms can get a bit small in space but they were still functional and did the job. The hosts were very helpful and great at communicating from check in to post-check out as well. We wish we had more time in this place!

I had an incredible experience staying at Terremolions, and I can't say enough good things about Sonia, our host. From the moment we arrived, her warm welcome made us feel right at home. The location is simply breathtaking, with stunning views right over the sea. It's the perfect spot for those seeking tranquility and privacy. The property is not only easily accessible but also impeccably clean and comfortable, allowing us to truly relax and unwind. What a wonderfully peaceful part of the world Paul has found. The property is set in a beautiful hamlet close to Lake Viñuela with beautiful views out over the Lake. It’s close to Los Romanes which has some local shops, bars and restaurants for convenience. It’s around 50 min drive from Malaga, with so many accessible nature parks within driving distance - we spent the entire time outside soaking it all up. The property itself is a marvel. We absolutely loved staying here and hope to return. Everything you need is provided. Paul himself was extremely friendly, helpful and responsive, offering local recommendations and tips. Thank you Paul for welcoming us to your beautiful place, we hope to return!!!

We had a wonderful stay with Lola and Nachos who also have a whole delegation of people in the area who made sure we had everything we needed and were responsive to all our questions. The house is splendid, sober and uncluttered decor, several rooms that offer plenty of privacy if you are a large group. The kitchen is super well equipped: it's quite rare and a major asset in my opinion. Several fruit trees on the grounds, we did not run out of citrus fruits during our stay ❤️🙏 There are also lots of board games at your disposal which is perfect for evenings for families or groups of friends. The view is breathtaking. The house is close to two super charming restaurants where we ate a few times. The times are not always accurate on Google however, but maybe this is because we were there in the low season.

We loved Mette’s dreamhome, quiet, relaxed and with stunning views! We felt at home the minute we drove through the gate! Will definitely be back!

What a fantastic place! The stay was exactly what we were looking for: peace, space and amazing views of the mountains. The surroundings are wonderfully quiet, perfect for really relaxing. The house itself was sparkling clean and spacious – ideal for our family. The outdoor space was really a highlight: lots of place to play, eat outside and barbecue in the evening under the stars. Everything was well cared for and decorated with attention. Fernando, the owner, was incredibly friendly and hospitable. He was reachable anytime we needed anything. We felt right at home. We'd love to come back!

This was by far the most beautiful place I’ve stayed at in Spain. Nestled in the Andalusian mountains, the house is truly something special. You can really tell that a lot of thought has gone into every detail from the interior to the ambient lighting. The town of Arenas is just two kilometers away, and one day we even walked there to explore surroundings. As one might expect in the mountains, the roads leading up are winding and steep, but we had a good car and had no trouble with the drive. The scenery alone makes the journey worthwhile. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the beauty and tranquility of Andalusia in a truly exceptional villa.

Our two-week stay in Andalusia was very pleasant, and our accommodation and the care provided by José contributed significantly to this. José and Daniel's communication was excellent and very reliable from the start. He was always available and made an effort to answer all our questions quickly and helpfully. You could tell that he cared about the well-being of his guests. The accommodation was as described and offered a good starting point for our explorations in Andalusia. Beautiful traditional villa, in very quiet/relaxing location. Very private, not overlooked - but a few houses nearby. However, Frigiliana, Nerja and Torrox are a short drive away for sightseeing, restaurants and beaches. The garden/pool gets the sun all day, and gorgeous sunsets to enjoy from the terrace. If you want an escape from all the noise that surrounds us - would highly recommend
