This was the last place we stayed in Bali and it was by far our favorite place. Not only is the accommodation phenomenal and beautiful, with a great view of the waterfall from the rooms, but it has a tree-house feel and is so unique. We saw a lot of wildlife, but were never pestered by anything (bugs, geckos, etc weren't a bother). But importantly, the staff were the kindest, most helpful and most accommodating staff that we had experienced in Bali. We enjoyed every meal that we had in the restaurant, and the staff are lovely to visit with. There are several recommended activities, where transportation was arranged. We have already recommended our friends and family to stay here, if they visit Bali. Thank you, Gumi Ayu! ♡

Warren is a very nice host, he is friendly, and very helpful if you want to learn more about this part of Bali. His family is also very kind. You get a very nice jungle experience at this place. You have beautiful nature and also very incredible waterfalls!

We had an amazing stay! Saw lots of wildlife including turtles, platypus and possums which was incredible right on your doorstop! Highly recommend.

A great place to stay. We slept one night in the bird's nest and one night in a normal room. An adventure that you absolutely must experience. The complex is incredibly beautifully laid out, the staff are super nice and the pick-up service on the first day worked without any problems. You are a little outside the city and the hustle and bustle of Ubud, but you can easily walk to all the sights with a short walk. Our tip: be sure to try the breakfast and book a massage. We can only recommend the place:)

good value overall, very good hospitality and great breakfast, I was even able to eat with the family after the day of Ramadan, it can help you do any type of exit, maybe lacks a light and the mattress is springs it could be improved

The visit was magical. Airport pickup worked and I was wonderfully welcomed by the family. Dewu was helpful and very accommodating. The little house was beautiful and paradisiacal. I had the Garden Room and the view from my cottage was really breathtaking. Every morning there was homemade Balinese breakfast served in the room. The food was very delicious. The excursions I went with Dewu were beautiful. Since I'm traveling alone, it was good to have a guide by his side to explain everything. He also made beautiful videos and photos of me. Since this place is more rural and not directly at the center, you can relax and come down there. There is a pool where you can cool off. I am super happy with my stay. There was also always the possibility to get dinner in the room. The price-performance ratio is great.

I initially booked this room for just one night, primarily because there were no existing reviews or ratings to give me an idea of its quality. I wanted to see it for myself! After experiencing just one night here, I was so impressed that I extended my reservation for the remainder of my stay in Lombok. There are many reasons for this, but the most important ones were the immaculate cleanliness of the room, the exceptionally helpful and cooperative staff, and the warm welcome I received from the owners. It truly made my trip to Lombok even more enjoyable, and I highly recommend it!

Staying at Stephen and Philamae’s home was an experience! It was easily one of my favourite places I’ve ever stayed. It was like a creative’s haven and I left filled with inspiration. Every detail in the home was so well thought out and intentional. From a fairy lit labyrinth for the evening, to paintings you can get lost in, to such an incredible view (I can’t stress this enough) that is just divine to catch the sunrise and sunset, this was a place that just kept giving. You could get lost in the detail, and the view. There were plenty of amenities. The shared spaces were incredible to linger in. Everything was well stocked. I had memorable conversations with the host and helper that were so warm and insightful. Expect to leave feeling rejuvenated! It really is such an incredible haven. I’m so grateful that I had the chance to experience it! Thank you so much Stephen and Philamae. I hope to come back soon!

We had a gorgeous stay at the cottage over a cold, rainy long weekend. Andrew went above and beyond, having the heater and fire on for us on arrival so the place was toasty and inviting. Well equipped kitchen, really comfortable beds and just 10mins into town made it a perfect spot for exploring the beautiful Clare Valley. The spot was quiet and peaceful and lovely for a morning walk. We also loved visits from Tommy & Snowy too 🐾 Highly recommended!

Such a great place to stay! Stayed here as a solo female traveler and felt very safe. Desak is so kind and helpful! Will definitely be staying here again!

I loved my little Bungalow and the Pool

Nice place! Atypical! Fantastic! We spent two nights there and everything went very well. The Staff is really great. Breakfast is great with different choices too. We organized our ascent of the Kawah Ijen with them and it was great. If you are looking for an atypical place in nature. This is a place I recommend without hesitating!

Beautiful bungalow where we were able to put our whole tribe. Great food and outings! A huge thank you to Fajri and Ida who were superbly busy with us. Beautiful discovery (To know that during the month of July and August unless mistaken, the bungalow is on the west side of Selayar. It's a different concept of glamping from the east of the island. Alina and Ida are wonderful hosts, caring and kind. They really care about making your stay as good as possible. The staff is very nice and helpful. They speak French well, which is appreciated. Life is wonderful, the place is peaceful. We have easy access to the waterfalls and the rice field. I highly recommend it. I was delighted and delighted with this stay. Thank you Ida and Adila 🥰
