In the old forester's house in the middle of the forest, far away from civilization, enjoy untouched nature and silence, sleep heavenly and recharge your batteries. Pure country vacation! You step out of house and you are surrounded by nature. Collect wild herbs, wild berries and mushrooms right outside the front door or meet rabbits, deer, badgers & Co. In the middle of the forest, on a clearing, 3 km from the beautiful town of Gartow, lies our special retreat. If you are looking for peace and quiet in nature and value simplicity and goodness, this is the place. The old half-timbered building, a former stable, was renovated with high quality and sustainably with natural materials. Clay plaster on the walls and the wood-burning stove guarantee an excellent indoor climate, and the walk to the wood-fired sauna promises absolute relaxation!

Natur Nest Nemitz – Living in a converted stable

Our new, charming and lovingly furnished apartment is located in a former stable building of the old farm, just 700 m from the Nemitz Heath. The 60 sqm are divided into a kitchen, hallway, bathroom, a bedroom/living room and a beautiful wooden terrace - ideal for couples or solo travelers, suitable for a maximum of 3 people. Wallbox and bicycle shed are provided. On request, 1–2 horses can be accommodated (€20/night) – ideal for unforgettable star rides in great nature.

Dannenberg in the beautiful Wendland with beautiful cycling trails, forests and the nearby Elbe. Great outdoor pool nearby, good nearby shopping, sauna can be booked from September to the end of April. (€10 hour) On weekends only book both nights, no one-night booking. It's an apartment, Airbnb presents it as a tree house! Large staircase to the top, large apartment, large balcony - no shared use. For check-in, the door is open from 3 pm, the key is inside.

The Storchendorf Wahrenberg is right on the Elbe and offers an ideal location to enjoy nature and activities. Wahrenberg does not have through traffic. In the garden you can relax and enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings. Cycling and canoeing are possible directly on site or nearby, as well as swimming on the Elbe or on lakes. The spa in Bad Wilsnack and the beautiful Waldbad Seehausen are ideal for excursions. Simple bicycles cost €5 per day.

Kulturhaus Wahrenberg

Unfortunately, our farm is not suitable for excessive parties. Our house was built around 1850. The residential house and barn of the listed 3-sided farmstead are built with oak timber framing. There are 10 wedding linden trees around the house. In November, when the linden trees are pruned back, the house can be seen in all its glory. From May, it then slowly disappears behind shady foliage and stays wonderfully cool throughout the summer... 

Living in an old school

There is no central heating. There is a convection oven, which is similar to a tiled stove, but quickly provides cozy warmth. The place is heated on arrival, and the heat usually lasts until the next morning. Cheering is easy! Relax, also enjoy silence in a stylish guest apartment, feel comfortable no matter the weather.
