Wonderful and unique property in a stunningly beautiful natural landscape. We wish we could have stayed longer to spend more time here. Easily the best lodging of our trip and likely the best airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. All of the various indoor/ outdoor areas at the property are awesome. And we were very lucky with weather and only one rainy day. It is quite steep/ many steps up and down between the main house, cabin, and boat house with additional lounge areas down by the water so may not be for everyone. Toril and her husband were also so gracious to show us all around the property at check in, even a bit later than expected. This place was very special and would love to stay there again some day!

We have had an amazing week! It is the second time we stayed here and there will be a next time for sure. You need a car, that goes without saying but the view, the charming house, the facilities (we loved the use of the small boat) and the quitness offer a great alternative on a rainy or relaxing day.

Beautiful, quiet place by the sea. Nice fishing spot. We are not professionals in fishing, but we managed to catch quite a lot of fish and had a lot of fun. The bonus was the boat and the kayaks. Separately, I want to note the host of this house, who responds promptly to messages, is always ready to help in case of any questions and is very friendly. We will be back next year.

We all had a lovely stop over on our journey from Trondheim to Alesund. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. the cottage had everything we needed, was warm and comfortable & there was even a sauna! It's a very peaceful spot with lovely views. We have no hesitation in recommending at stay here.

Staying at this farmhouse lovingly cared for by Liv & Bertie was a magical and rewarding experience beyond just staying at a “place”. I was personally greeted by Bertie on a very rainy night and welcomed by a fire he’d started for me. After 30 plus hours of travel that was a wonderful start to my adventure which only got better with each day! Not only will you have half a farmhouse to yourself, you will also have a gorgeous sitting area in the yard outside overlooking the bay and far off mountains with munching sheep and horses for company just beyond the fence. Take a walk down the dirt road and you’ll find a beautiful small beach. Time moves at a different pace here…but if you’re visiting in the summer, the days never end anyway! The spacious and cheerful kitchen has everything you need. The bathroom is small but very nicely renovated and appointed. Towels and sheets very nice quality. And this place is immaculate! Not a speck of dust! WiFi can be a bit weak. I never wanted to leave!

Monica and Ivar are great hosts. they are very welcoming and helpful. The stay is very nice and cozy and with all the amenities. There is a bus stand just right outside the house and it takes only 15 minutes to go to Alesund central. The view from the house is also a bonus.

Absolutely fantastic stay! It is the perfect place for a fishing trip to the fjords. The accommodation itself is a real gem - cleanliness at the highest level, and the comfort was simply brilliant. The location is fabulous: quiet, clean and peaceful, surrounded by a beautiful area that delights with views. It's hard to imagine better conditions. A wonderful host is a real treasure trove of knowledge and help, and communication with him was smooth and very efficient. The whole thing is definitely worth recommending! We will be happy to return to experience this peace again and beauty.

Clean, tidy, and homey. Plenty of room for lots of people. 20 min. quiet walk from the city center. Lovely garden with sunny patio. Ragnhild is a very nice host. Highly recommend the place. We would gladly came back!

Wonderful stay at the farmhouse. It had all the comforts and amenities as home. It’s was so nice to come back after a day off and just relax here. We did enjoy our conversations with Stig and Eva, who are excellent hosts. Highly recommend a stay here.
