Hillside's Rest Nest

When I refurbished the place, my aim was to create a place to relax, read or hideaway to focus on work. Located in the neighbourhood, where all the city life is just a 5-10 minutes walk away and at the same time, it does not feel as city at all as the forest and river walk is just around the corner. I am glad to share it with likeminded travellers and I will be glad to share all those little tips and tricks about places in Cesis, worthwhile to experience - from nature spots to cosy pubs :-)

Ezernam spa is a place for couples to rebuild and strengthen their relationships. The unique location right next to the lake, surrounded by trees, creates a sense of loneliness, peace and special proximity to nature. Stay is set in the heart of Gaujas National Park, surrounded by its forests and rivers just a few kilometres away. We are in a friendly and quiet suburb Livi, exactly 4.5km from the city Cesis and 3.5km from the longest ski slopes in Latvia (Ozolkalns & Zagarkalns).

Cosy flat on 2d floor in central location with Latvian designer art pieces. Family friendly area by the park. Sigulda castle in a few minutes walk. Small grocery shop located in the same building. Central station and cafes nerby. Netflix will entertain during bad weather conditions.

Our tiny guest house is located 10min walk from the train/bus station in the center of Sigulda. It stands by the beautiful garden next to our family's house. From here, many nature trails are easily accessible on foot or by bike. Come and enjoy the beauty of Sigulda!
