Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Auglaize County

Looked like the pictures and was super comfy. Loved that we could bring our dog with us. It was nice sitting on the dock watching the boats and geese and there were views were out of every window.

Very clean and area is beautiful. The game room items were amazing!

It was a very cute little house and the lake view was peaceful. Also loved the little neighborhood it was in! Bathroom upstairs is a little small and the ceiling space was short so we had a couple head bumps lol! But overall it was a nice, cute place and we enjoyed our stay. Nice neighbors & good pizza is walking distance away. Caught some fish as well. Poles are not provided.

This home away from home was a great getaway for our family and our friends. We had two families (7 total people) and a dog there for a long holiday weekend and felt very comfortable, with plenty to do inside and outside. We were able to fish right from the back yard lake access. The grill and hot tub were both great to have and we got lots of use out of both! Would highly recommend for your lake getaway.

We had an amazing trip! The family enjoyed Jamie's house. There were 10 of us and we were very comfortable. We fished, hiked, scootered on the bike trail, played Frisbee golf, went for walks, and played games. The lake was beautiful. Our favorite feature of the house was the back patio. We had a cozy warm fire and fished right off the patio when we weren't somewhere else within the state park. There were plenty of restaurants and stores nearby. We even found a cute little gift shop and hometown fishing supply store within minutes of the house.

Stayed at Kari’s place for the weekend and had a wonderful time with my family. I definitely would book with her again! She was very proactive with instructions and flexible with check in/out times. The house was super clean and the view from the back porch was beautiful! We also had great weather and were able to use the kayaks that were available. Made some great memories.

Corie is amazing and always responsive, no matter what you need. I’m thankful and grateful. I’d stay again.

This sweet little spot is so unique! When it says it's on the river they mean it's ON the river! We had a girls trip here with 4 ladies, and it was quite comfortable! We had the best time just sitting by the river, having fires, and one lady caught (and released) 10 trout while we were there! Walkable to downtown for a cafe, ice cream, and some fun little funky thrift shops! We grilled almost every day, and just had some much needed laughs on he screen porch! Jodee could NOT have been nicer and more gracious and flexible! An amazing stay!

Just the whole experience there felt Heavenly. It was such a relaxing and fun experience. I saw the pictures when we booked but it was just beyond words when we arrived.The inside of the house was so beautiful!! Everything was just perfect and clean. The kids just loved the play kitchen and toys upstairs. So much for the kids to enjoy inside and outside. We had a great time down stairs in the theater room at night. The pool was wonderful and couldn’t get enough of it. Outside the front and back yards were so big ,beautiful and peaceful with all the landscape and shade trees we could just sit outside on the deck all day and enjoy the scenery. There was so much to enjoy but wish we could have had more time . It was definitely hard to leave!! Thank you Katie for responding back so quickly with the questions we had and making our vacation at Brown Bear log cabin one of the NICEST places for making fun family memories! We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful cabin in the country! The setting is peaceful and scenic, with a lovely creek running through the backyard. The decor is top-notch, and the amenities exceeded our expectations — from the fully equipped kitchen with great appliances to the washer and dryer, everything felt brand new and thoughtfully arranged. The screened back porch and cozy living room made it easy to relax and feel right at home. It’s only 5 miles from Bellefontaine or West Liberty and about 30 minutes to Honda, so the location was perfect for our needs. The hosts were great communicators and made everything easy during our stay. As newcomers to Airbnb, we were genuinely surprised by how nice everything was — definitely better than a hotel. Highly recommended!

My family spent our annual family Memorial Day weekend and had such a wonderful time! Location was perfect, lakefront but also peaceful in the cove. There were so many activities available indoors and outdoors, Bryan and Jerrod did really well with making sure a family is set for fun filled memorable weekend! The hosts have added the cutest little outdoor bar, which we enjoyed very much! The only glitch was that a company came to spray for spiders while we were there- not the owners fault but the company that sprays could have chosen a more appropriate time to spray. Otherwise, an amazing stay, wonderful hosts, definitely recommend!

Jordan was a great host! Her place was so beautiful and inviting. We loved the authentic barn feel with so much quality. The views were beautiful and set the scene for a perfect bonfire. I enjoyed taking epsom salt baths in the master bedroom. We loved the coziness of the home as well as the cleanliness. The indoor electric fireplace made our movie nights so cozy. Highly recommend this home for a private staycation. Most restaurants and stores are a 20 min drive from the property, but we didn’t mind the distance.

You won’t find a better place or more responsive hosts. This place is outside town, but still convenient to town and Kiser Lake. The amenities are all first class. Nice towels, nice sheets, and a very well-stocked kitchen. We knew that there was a washer and dryer, so we were even able to pack lighter than a normal trip. The hosts left us well stocked with firewood and we made some yummy s’mores while sitting out and enjoying the quiet of nature. I’m new to having my own Airbnb account and I can only hope to get other hosts as nice and responsive as Scott and Chelle. They had homemade apple crisp and ice cream waiting for us upon our arrival. The apple crisps were still warm! The fridge had farm fresh milk, eggs, coffee creamer and butter. Everything about this place and these hosts exceeded our highest expectations. Now that I’m retiring, we hope to use this place every time we go to Urbana to visit the daughter and granddaughter.

The place is really unique. Feels like you’ve rented your own summer camp. Eric was really responsive. Overall, a great time for our family.
