My place is less than one mile from snowmobile trails and you can begin your day of riding right from the house. There is plenty of parking for multiple trucks with trailers. You’ll love my place because of the location, the ambiance, the outdoors space, and the neighborhood. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups.

The Back 80 Cabin

Beautiful, newly remodeled, cozy house in the woods. Located about 15 minutes from Munising and 10 minutes from Au Train. Very quiet location in the woods with trails to walk and a small creek running through the property Sleeps 8 people. The area offers lots of outdoor activities, including Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. Alger County has 13 waterfalls and lots of hiking, boating, and fishing. Snowmobile/ATV trails are accessible from the cabin, 2 miles north on a dirt road. No pets!!

#3 Squirrel is a cozy 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom located just across the road from the North Shore of AuTrain Lake at Northwoods Resort! The cabin has 1-Queen Bed & 1-Twin bed in the bedroom. There is a full kitchen and bathroom with toilet, sink, shower. You can expect full beach & lake access. There is also an outside table and charcoal grill included. Coin operated laundry for use. The cabin is located 2 miles from Lake Superior & 11 miles from Munising where the Pictured Rocks Shoreline starts

Welcome to our little slice of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan! It is a spring, summer wonderland! We have access to the country store with fresh meats as well as to restaurants and gas and supplies. Also 12 minutes from Munising and Pictured Rocks, hiking trails, and close to the Ice caves in Ebin. We are a short drive to M13 and all of the recreational inland lakes that the area has to offer. Head the other direction and you are a short 15 min drive to Miners Castle/Miners Beach which can be a fantastic launching point to your UP adventure!
