Kate and Scot have a groomed connector to the Rib Lake ski trails, which are some of the best we've ever been on. Forest Springs, Rusch Preserve, and Timm's Hill trails (plus a few others) can all be accessed via this trail system and everything is well-marked. Kate and Scot were such accommodating hosts. They kept us updated on the trail grooming and even had the sauna going for us when we were done skiing each day. At the same time, they were very respectful of our privacy. The loft itself is cute, cozy, and very comfy. We had everything we needed for our short stay. Details like aromatherapy sprays, herbal teas, and thoughtful lighting really elevated our time in the loft. The bed was very comfortable and, a big plus for us, there were lots of cozy places to curl up with a book. Overall, we had a wonderfully relaxing and fun time. We felt like we were at our own private XC ski resort. Highly recommend for a winter getaway.

We were in the area for a wedding and we couldn’t believe this gem was available! From start to finish we were impressed with the attention to detail that made our 3-night stay so comfortable. This was by far the cleanest home we have been in, with Marion a prompt and friendly hostess. The scenery is lovely, and we felt like we were in an oasis of nature and peace. I heartily recommend this location to anyone who needs a place to stay in the area.
