A fantastic stay at Mango Guesthouse. We had such good care taken of us, local knowledge, always on hand to answer questions and an incredible breakfast. Best place we’ve stayed in Aswan!

Wow this place is amazing. It looks even better than the pictures and you really are looking right at the temple of Philae from your room or anywhere on the small island as the Philae island is about a two minute boat ride away. Everything about our stay was chill and easy. Youssef was an amazing manager and kept everything running smoothly - boat rides to the port, kayak rental, laundry services. All of the people we encountered from the restaurant staff to the laundry people to the boat drivers were lovely and helpful. The food was delicious. The room was spotless and clean. The swimming beach was nice and private. If we could have stayed a month, we would have. Really really can’t recommend this place enough. What an oasis escape from busy life.

It was a good day in Abu Simbel, and everything is saving from the landing of the plane.Yaya took us on a free bus to the residence, showed us the room, gave us a welcome drink that was made, and helped us arrange the affordable tuktuk, the Abu Simbel sound light show at night and see the sun on Nasser Lake the next day, but it was a pity that day the wind was too big to see Ramses II from the front again. The room is clean and tidy, recommended.

The staff here go above and beyond to make sure you’re having a great time. Very friendly people and make sure you try their fresh watermelon juice. Don’t think twice if you wanna book a room in this unique hotel, highly recommended! By far the most magical place to stay in Aswan.

Staying at Abdoo's Felucca was a magical experience. Mahmoud and Abdou were the best hosts and the best company we could have had whilst going up and down the Nile - we couldn't have asked for better captains. We cannot wait to be back! João and Bart

The guesthouse is awesome, esp with the renovations being done. Awesome roof balcony overlooking the Nile, Aswan and the Island. Lovely garden area where you can relax, eat etc. We had a nice packed lunch for our Abu zsimbel trip. Friendly staff and easy to get to with public ferry and ashore walk. Can recommend!

The accommodation was absolutely beautiful, with great attention to detail and interior design that perfectly reflects the local character and charm of the area. The view from the rooms was stunning, and the shared space was ideal for relaxing and taking in the serene surroundings. The staff was friendly and helpful. Every morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast that included traditional local dishes. Our host was exceptionally accommodating, always available to assist and helped us plan excursions to nearby sightseeing spots. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, aesthetically pleasing, and spotless stay in Aswan.

Abdelshakur’s boat is a gem on elephantine island. It is close to the only basic shop of the island and to the motorboats leading to downtown. The advantage of being close to the city center while being in a very quiet and lovely environment. Abdelshakur is very helpful and offer little tours around the Nile, and can even cook for you. Breakfast was delicious and fulfilling. Only cons if you’re not aware: no wifi on the boat, which is not a real problem to be honest

This has to be one of the best locations in Aswan. The water way is relatively quiet. We were very pleased when we discovered that the mooring point was the West side of Elephantine Island. Abdel made our stay very comfortable and allowed us to use the boat as if it was our own boat. There was good internet here as well and I was able to do a good 8 hours work efficiently on my business. Visitors should expect boat type accommodation (not like a hotel) and they will not be disappointed
