Beachfront holiday rental in Askøy

This is a wonderful cottage and the view was just as beautiful as the pictures make it look. Everything was clean and the kitchen was perfect to cook and chill out too. Only thing to note, if you use public transport than you are a good hour outside of Bergen. The buses go regularly but it takes a while to get into Bergen, where most activities start from. It worked out for me as I wanted to do a bit more relaxing and slow travel. Also there is nice hiking around. But for some this might be a bit far from the hustle and bustle of Bergen, if that is what you are looking for.

Incredible views from this beautiful home. Very comfortable home and so peaceful. Definitely recommend this home!

Veldig hyggelig vert, som er lett å kommunisere med. Stedet var veldig fint, og gangavstand til det man måtte ønske å se på øyen. Absolutt å anbefale, og tar gjerne turen ut der igjen ved senere anledning :)

Nydelig sted! Enkel standard, men man har det man trenger. Hage og bryggen er det som gjør stedet magisk. Våkner til fuglekvitter og båter i stedet for trafikk. Et godt sted å finne roen.

Danke an Hilde, die uns sehr flexibel geholfen hat. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Woche. Der Bootsverleih direkt nebenan ist absolut empfehlenswert um die wunderschöne Küste zu erkunden. Es gibt auch viele leichte Kindgerechte Wanderwege in der Gegend, teils mit tollen Naturspielplätzen.

Heerlijke rust en genieten van de natuur. Gezellig huisje met een heerlijke openhaard. Ook fijn dat de bedden waren opgemaakt en er ruim voldoende linnengoed aanwezig was. Verder was Bjarte een fijne host die zelfs in het weekend goed bereikbaar is. En nog bedankt voor de heerlijke pruimen uit eigen tuin!

No tiene un acceso fácil porque hay que caminar desde el parking, pero las instrucciones eran muy claras con fotos de todo. Fue muy fácil acceder así. Todo limpio y cumple con todo lo que anuncia. Responde rápido. Lugar precioso!

Our family had a truly wonderful time during our stay. The house was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The property and surroundings offered amazing views and was extremely quiet and peaceful. The property was perfectly located for our family to enjoy the tranquility of the location as well as close enough to the city for activities. Ole Petter was a wonderful host, always responsive to any questions we had and more than happy to provide recommendations to help us enjoy our stay.

We had a really relaxing stay at the cabin with the nicest view :) Marius was very precise and detailed in his descriptions and always open for any questions - in total great communication. An amazing opportunity if you are around Bergen to spend a rainy fall weekend where you just want to read your book while looking out the window seeing a wavy sea and colorful trees around but probably even nicer in the summer when you can dip more often into the water and spend most of the time at the balcony. Thank you so much!!

Veronica’s home was beautiful and more than described. Even with somewhat rainy weather we enjoyed her home fully. Our 5 year old daughter was ready to move in after only one day 😂 with all of the fun both inside and outside the space. The house is beautifully lived in and loved. The views and hosts were top notch.

Wir waren das erste Mal in Norwegen und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Haus der Vermieter liegt an einem Fjord mit Klasse Aussicht. Das Haus ist geräumig und es ist alles vorhanden, was man so in einer Woche braucht. 3 Minuten entfernt ist eine Bushaltestelle, von dort kommt man in knapp einer halben Stunde nach Bergen; haben das Auto nur einmal zum Einkaufen benutzt. Die Vermieter waren über die App jederzeit erreichbar, waren hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich. Diese Unterkunft ist auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen

Toller Aufenthalt! Die Wohnung ist sehr gross und hat Alles was man braucht. Die Lage ist fantastisch, direkt am Meer mit einer schönen Terasse. Wir haben das Boot gemietet, perfektes Wetter und alles gut erklärt bekommen. Unser Highlight war, dass wir die Krebs Netze einholen durften mit Jarle, Abends gabs auch noch die gefangen Krebse zum Essen.

Torvald and Kari Ann’s property was amazing. Loved the style of the house in a peaceful and relaxing location. Fantastic sea and mountain views. Either a 2 minute walk to the bus stop or 5 minute walk to the excellent pedestrian ferry to easily access Bergen centre. The house had everything you need and more in terms of inside and out seating areas to enjoy the amazing views. Amenities are close by with an excellent supermarket across three minute walk away and fuel stations a few hundred meters along the road. Restaurants in Kleppestø are limited but that’s easily solved with a short bus/ferry ride into Bergen. In summary, we enjoyed a fabulous 5 day stay here and would recommend it to folks who want to enjoy the hustle and bustle of Bergen but then need some relaxation time away. I would also say Torvald is an absolute gentleman and he was extremely helpful. I would highly recommend this property.

Super gelegene Hütte auf einer tollen idyllischen Insel. Wir haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt! Miriam und Vigleik waren super freundlich und hilfbereit. Würde die Hütte sofort weiter empfehlen. Danke für die tolle Zeit!

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt bei Ingrid und Per. Wir haben viele nützliche Hinweise zu Wanderrouten beim Check-In bekommen. Die Kommunikation war sehr einfach. Unsere Gastgeber waren äußert freundlich. Ein sehr gemütliches Zuhause zum Abschalten und Wohlfühlen! Wir kommen jederzeit gerne wieder.

A beautiful property with magnificient views come rain or shine. It is well located for local sightseeing & close to a mini supermarket. Rakel was a delighful, yet discrete host.

What a lovely home and an incredible view. Would definitely stay here again!
