Holiday rentals with lake access in Ashigarashimo District

Thanks a lot for a wonderful stay! We were lucky enough to enjoy a wonderful view of Mount Fuji on both days through the living room window and slept really good on both, beds and futons. 👍 It was really nice that there were two bathrooms (one with a shower one without) available, definitely a plus for a larger group as ours. Communication through Airbnb was easy and really nice. Thanks to the team for making our stay so great and effortless.

My husband and I spent 4 nights at this B&B and it was absolutely incredible. The hosts were very responsive if we needed anything and gave clear instructions. They also stopped by on our last day to make sure everything was okay and brought us breakfast given it was an extremely snowy evening the night before. The B&B was exactly as it was in the pictures and was a really comfortable experience. The plus was that you could see Mt. Fuji right from the front porch on a clear day. The bus stop is right in front of the B&B so we didn’t have to drag our luggage too far. The neighbourhood was very peaceful with some great restaurants and konbinis located within a 15-20 minute walk from it. Would definitely love to go back and stay there again.

It was a memorable stay and the host sister was very friendly with us and provided all the help we needed.The location of the house is good, you can see Mt.Fuji at home, and only 2 minutes walk from the white bird beach, which makes us see Mt.Fuji sunrise without getting up too early.I highly recommend staying there, and I hope to come back again in the future.

A beautiful house with a stunning view of Fuji-san. 10 mins walk to Oshino Hakkai. As long as you’re okay with using a public onsen for washing, this place is great

The host is very nice and always provides us with useful information in a timely manner. The place is very comfortable, and the bed sheets and quilts are very clean. We will definitely choose to stay here again next time.

We had a wonderful stay.The garden is beautiful and peaceful, adding a lovely touch to the atmosphere. The house itself is spacious, with a large bedroom and living room that are perfect for relaxing or spending time with a group. It’s very convenient and well-suited for big groups or families. The host was very professional and made everything easy and comfortable for us. Highly recommended.

It was a beautiful place to stay in and we also had our own Parking lot. I was very happy when we got a book and a map of different activities and placed to eat.. helpfull and was always ready if you need something. i would recommend this place and u even got free bikes there so get that bike and drive around the town

My family like the place. The surrounding is peaceful. Amenities are as per description and he even provided free toiletries (toothbrush etc). House very clean and insulation is good. Really helpful during winter. Mattress is comfy too. Managed to get clear view of Mount Fuji on the road near to the house. Thanks for having us.

We stayed with our children and had a wonderful time. The place was clean, had a cozy and homely atmosphere, and we felt very comfortable. We could feel Mt. Fuji close by, and with Lake Kawaguchi nearby as well, we enjoyed the rich nature and had a relaxing stay. Child-friendly tableware was provided, so we felt at ease. There was also a shopping mall nearby, which made the stay even more convenient. A hot spring facility was just a short drive away, and both kids and adults had a great time. The bathroom in the room was also very comfortable. The guidance before our stay was polite and helpful. We had an amazing 4 nights stay at Bear House A. The house is cosy, and had adequate space for 4 adults and 2 children. The area is highly recommended. We had a rental car so we always move by car, but there’s plenty of walking distance convenient stores and restaurants. Our travel group include our elderly dad, and he can managed the stairs okay. It also helps that there’s a toilet at ground floor. Overall, we had a memorable stay at Kawaguchiko, and the Bear House played an important part of the whole experience. Located in front of Hirano Beach, you can watch the sunrise for five minutes in the morning!The weather was not good on the day, and the host sent out the sunrise when the weather was good, Mt. Fuji is beautiful, I recommend everyone to stay here!It is not convenient to eat nearby, and there are many shops resting on Thursday, but there are also delicious Izakaya open, and it is a pleasant experience!

We had a wonderful stay at Loris Cottage. The place was clean, tidy, and fully equipped with everything we needed for cooking and daily use. The highlight was waking up and having breakfast on the balcony with a stunning view of Mount Fuji—truly marvellous and felt almost unreal. We also enjoyed walking and using the bicycles provided to explore around the lake, which made the experience even more special. The only challenge was accessing the main area, as it required climbing quite a steep staircase. It might be tiring for those with heavy luggage or for elderly guests, so it’s something to consider. Aside from that, everything was excellent and exceeded our expectations. The peaceful atmosphere, thoughtful touches, and the unforgettable view made our stay truly memorable. We had a great time and would absolutely love to return if we visit Fuji again in the future. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a scenic and peaceful getaway.

Ideal accommodation to discover Lake Yamanakako and its surroundings. You literally saw on the Mon Fuji from this location. And the recommendations customized by hosts are great!!

Our family of 8 had a very unforgettable day in this very Japanese and innovative house... as soon as we entered the house was deeply attracted... it was a little late for us to arrive... but the homeowner was still very warmly hosting us... not forgetting to remind us to be careful on the way to come... because it snowed in the mountain lake that day... our family's first snowing experience was here The experience is... really mesmerized by the amazing snow scenery around... Although you can't see Fuji but get a very fascinating snow view... It's very close to the individual net red punch point of Yamanaka Lake... but this trip we didn't get the chance to see the charming Mt.Fuji... hopefully we'll have the chance to come back again in the future... and see the different beauty of Mt. Fuji... I'm here very, very very Recommended for people staying at this cozy homestay… there will be a next time only if there is regret..

My family and I had a great time at the cottage! It was very cozy and had everything we needed. Our young son had a great time playing in the snow and staying warm by the fire. We also got to see lovely views of Mt. Fuji on our drive to the cottage.
