Beachfront holiday rental in Ascea

A beautiful place off the beaten path and yet close to the main road where you can go anywhere in Amalfi. The apartment has everything you need and is clean. The terrace has a beautiful view of the sea. The neighborhood is quiet and away from the crowds. Highly recommend!

The views are amazing and this is a special place we will never forget. The decor is unique, comfortable and the host provided plenty of fresh fruit, food, beverages and snacks…. Which was very helpful because the stairs and entry path are long and challenging, but worth the effort!! Great place to relax and spend time with family.

Spectacular view on the large balcony overlooking the water & neighbouring towns. The apartment was modest with everything you'd need. Pietro was very responsive. The shower went cold after~ 10 minutes & he was able to fix the problem within a few hours. There were ~ 200 steps from the road to the apartment & another 108 from there to the beach. There is no other access. We are young and fit, but we struggled with our heavy suitcases. I was surprised they didn't organise someone to carry our bags. We organised this for €40 upon check out. The listing provided driving directions, but when we arrived he revealed that car is not recommended & the best way to travel between towns is by water taxi (€15/person to Amalfi, €45/person to Positano one way only), but they stop operating at 5pm. Parking is scarce and expensive so didn't use our car at all. The paid parking lot was €30/day. The traffic was terrible and the roads were narrow & winding. Had we known, we would not have rented a car.

We really enjoyed staying in this bungalow, very clean, friendly staff and friendly responded politely to everything we asked for. There's everything you need nearby without the need to use the car, which I really appreciated. We'll definitely be back next year.

excellent location, convenient both for visiting Amalfi and for the many nearby restaurants. There are also two supermarkets nearby that facilitate the possible choice of cooking at home. Mauro is very helpful and always ready to respond to messages.

This stay was incredible and the host was even better. The place we were staying is steps away from the water and such a great spot especially for the price. The only thing that I liked better than the location was how great our host was. If we had any issue they answered very quickly. They even personally gave us a refund when we had to leave a day early and came out in person to help with a lock when we had issues.

Nothing to say about the house. Well furnished, clean, and with a small outdoor space where you can enjoy the good sea air. In addition to the apartment there is also a comfortable descent to the sea. The host who welcomed us, and who made the best experience, was Lucia. She was able to welcome us properly and was always at our disposal, supporting us if needed. Special mention was the recommendation of one of the streets to travel in order to enjoy the beautiful places that Cilento offers to the fullest. I'm fully satisfied. :-)

Brand new apartment and arranged in an essential way but with taste, easy to use and manage. Relaxing pool in the quiet, a stone's throw from the archaeological area and the sea. Beautiful nature and sublime food wherever you eat.

Great host, great house! Had everything you need, including some cute little geckos in the garden at night. We rented a car which helped to get to the supermarket and to Salerno which is well worth a visit. Thank you for a great place to stay.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Jamiles home! From the moment we arrived, she was incredibly welcoming and kind ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The property itself was perfect for our family—spacious, clean, and thoughtfully equipped with all the essentials for traveling with young kids. The location couldn’t have been better!!! and the sunsets incredible... We truly couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Thank you for making our family feel so comfortable! It was really spectacular. The house is just beautiful, there are no others like it in the area. It’s very private and secure. You need only take a 5-10 minute walk, there is a small store one way, or a selection of restaurants the other way. The beach is literally a 3 minute walk and is gorgeous. I can’t say enough good things about the hosts. Just a wonderful family, so kind and generous. I am so grateful we found Villa Virginia and we hope to return again. ❤️🤍💚

Everything worked out smoothly. She gave us helpful instructions on how we could discover other places in the area and the views from the balconies was absolutely great. Also the private sea access is a very cool feature. Recommend!

Absolutely lovely place. Tranquil and beautiful, this place was exactly what the doctor ordered. Sound of waves and the birds chirping made every morning coffee that much more enjoyable. Easy access to the beach and a local cafe with fabulous espresso and pastries. Only drawback was the timing of our visit meant many places were still closed and resulted in limited choices for restaurants. But the few that were open were great. Spotless house, beautiful location and friendly host made this a great place and I highly recommend.

The location is conveniently located next to a local bus stop that gets you down to Amalfi or up to Pogerola. This little town is a secret gem, it’s has a few really nice restaurants that are so much better than those in Amalfi. The apartment is spacious, has a really nice view and the host was very helpful and responsive.

Nice apartment with a stunning view. For self catering, the freshest fish shop you can find for hours is just 10mins walking (towards Amalfi). If you want a fancy meal, appetitive or digestive it’s an easy 10min walk (direction away from Amalfi town). Stay here, sleep well, park the car, save money and get the bus to the main attractions.

For the price, you cannot beat the view from the balcony. From the master bedroom you can see the whole town. The beds were comfortable and clean. The bathroom was clean and has a very nice rainfall shower. Absolutely no complaints, I loved my time here and will be booking again.

We recommend Antonio's apartment warmly. It is spacious. There is a good kitchen and bathroom. The bed is nice. The sea view balcony is the most beautiful of the apartment. We almost always had breakfast on the balcony.. The small beach where our dog could play was 1 minute walk. We did not use the garden with the table and chairs there, but that is probably a nice shaded place in the summer. We were also happy that we could put the car so safely behind the fence in the garden. Acciaroli is a very nice place with terraces, a harbor, a number of shops and everything within walking distance of the house. We liked the bridge right in front of the door. It was our dog's favorite place. There he could look nicely at the passers-by. We did not meet Antonio but he always responded directly to questions and was very friendly. It was great!!! Too bad we had to leave again. Thank you so much Antonio.

Very spacious, super clean, two bedroom apartment on the cliffs with amazing views. It is 12-15 minute scenic walk from center of Amalfi town. It has huge private balcony to enjoy these unobstructed views of the sea and Amalfi. There is a hotel next door where 20 sq meter room costs twice as much as this huge two bedroom apartment. Enza, the hostess, provided great communication, recommendations and was very accommodating. We would love to stay here next time we are in Amalfi

What a gem! this place was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. Being able to stay so close to the cathedral and in the heart of Amalfi was truly magical. The apartment has all the amenities needed, we were able to comfortably fit with our three children. We cooked in the kitchen and it had everything we needed, beds were comfortable, apartment had a number of special artistic touches that made it feel like a true local home. The views of the main square and being able to touch the cathedral from the balcony made for lifelong memories.
