This modern rustic cabin provides an escape from city life. Hike the nearby trails through the National Forest, a 5-minute walk from our front door. Cozy up with a book on the deck while enjoying the fresh air and bird watching. Inside, the floor-to-ceiling windows and exposed beams frame a long distance view out over the forest - it feels like no one else is around for miles. And if you must work remotely, you can count on fast Wi-Fi (>50mbps). Our cabin is perfect for design minded travelers who want an escape to the woods. There is a bedroom on the main level and a loft upstairs (each has a full size bed). The kitchen is fully equipped (including a Keurig coffee machine stocked with coffee and cider), and all bathroom necessities are included. Media amenities include Apple TV with access to HBO Go, Hulu, and Netflix, as well as a bluetooth speaker to play your own tunes. The entire cabin is available for the exclusive use of guests during their stay. Guests will self check in/out via electronic lock and keypad. My wife and I will always be available by cell phone if you have questions, and we have a lovely neighbor on the mountain who's available to assist on site when needed. We visit the cabin about once a month to unwind from city life ourselves, and we make it available to guests when we aren't around. We fell in love with the place and hope you do too. Halfway between Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear Lake, Arrowbear is a serene hamlet in the mountains. This is a quiet neighborhood, not a tourist trap. You can walk from the cabin to hiking trails, a diner, and a park with playground. A short drive will get you to lake activities, local shops, and restaurants. Very close to Snow Valley Ski Area. Parking is available on site. Personal car is recommended to get around the mountain, although there is a Mountain Transit bus stop near the cabin. If you come up in winter, please be prepared with tire chains and/or four wheel drive, and be sure to check weather conditions before you depart.

The Cabins bottom level is the in-law suite with private entrance, queen bed, full bath and kitchenette. The top two levels of the cabin consists of two bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, living room and kitchen. Centrally located 7 miles from the small town of Running Springs and a short 8 minute drive to Snow Valley. The town of Running Springs has many shops, restaurants and a market! Both Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear are only a 20 minute drive away making Arrowbear lake the perfect place to stay.

We had a wonderful stay! Very relaxing and so comfortable. Everything we needed was there which was so nice. It's the perfect quick getaway from the city. Enjoyed chatting with the friendly neighbors too. The peaceful, quiet and beautiful surroundings was just what we needed. Fell in love with the decor and finishes throughout. Especially loved the bathroom/wetroom! I took a bath everyday! So relaxing! Will definitely be back! Thank you for being so responsive to all our questions! Amazing home! Plenty for all to do. The furnishings give it homey feeling. All of the special touches were wonderful such as different flavors of coffee and teas, bath bombs, candy dishes, etc. Quiet neighborhood, close enough to go to restaurants, but far enough off the highway that it was very peaceful.

From check-in to check-out, Ashley couldn’t have done a better job communicating. I’ve been caretaking for a loved one and needed a few days away to rest and recharge my batteries. This cabin was everything I’d hoped it would be and more! Nestled on a quiet little hillside set against giant, shady pines, this charming cabin served as a perfect sanctuary to slow down and reset. The bed was dangerously comfortable making it hard not to lay around all morning but coffee with birdsong & fresh air on the back patio made a strong case to get up and start the day. There wasn’t one thing I needed that I couldn’t find in either the kitchen or bathroom. And the living room was well stocked with records, games and a smart TV so I could stream music. And all of this doesn’t mention anything about the quaint little town area and lake! I had such a wonderful, restorative few days in Ashley’s cabin. The only thing I would change about the entire trip would have been to stay a little longer.

This listing was a great choice to get away. The neighborhood is very quiet and calming. The house itself was spacious with numerous beds to accommodate all my friends. The amenities provided were great and made planning our trip a lot easier. Our overall experience was amazing and I would definitely return again .

Andi's place was a perfect, cozy getaway. We had a relaxing, quiet time recharging in nature. The cabin is as described and Andi really put a lot of thought into the decor providing yoga mats, lots of books to read around the house, and a vinyl to chillax too. Usually when I book a cabin, I expect some level of dust and general stuffiness and my allergies tend to flare up but I was pleasantly surprised to experience none of that - which suggests they really upkeep with dusting and cleaning. Note that there isn't a ton to do unless you drive to Lake Arrowhead or Big Bear but it fit the exact vibe we were looking for. Local eateries, saturday Farmer's market, hiking trails, peace and quiet. Thank you Andi for opening up her home to us!
