Holiday houses in Argyle Shore

The Crown of Victoria delivers everything promised and more. Every view on the property is gush-worthy. The straight stretches out on one side and fishing boats leave from Victoria Harbor on the other. A bald eagle soared over our heads on the front lawn our first night and made regular appearances as well as osprey, herons, chukars?, and countless songbirds. We got to watch potato planting in the adjacent fields and had quick, easy drives to hiking, great food at The Blue Mussel in North Rustico, gorgeous swim beach at Chelton and The Green Gables Heritage site. The linens and beds are extremely comfortable and beautiful and art from local artists and potters is throughout the house. We enjoyed purchasing some of our own pieces from their studios in Victoria. Jemima was extremely gracious and helpful and made our stay fantastic. Take your family to stay with this family!

Our stay at Sealview Lodge was absolutely incredible. We were in awe every day at the stunning ocean views and could not have asked for a more peaceful AirBnb experience. The photos in this listing do not do this place justice - the cottage is new and lovely and has everything you need for a restful and relaxing stay. The small details included in the cottage were well thought out, such as the binoculars on the window ledge (seals!), extra toiletries in the bathroom, fresh bath robes in the closet, or even the marshmallows for the campfire pit. We were travelling from out of province with a baby and Emily was so accommodating and responsive with our extra requests - definitely 5+ star host. Also, Canoe Cove is incredibly central with being only 25 minutes to the airport, 20 minutes to Charlottetown and 40 minutes to the north shore beaches/Anne of Green Gables/Cavendish/North Rustico areas. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. WILL RETURN.

We had a great stay. Loved the proximity to the private beach. The cottage itself was beautiful and very well equipped with everything you could need and more. We hope to stay here again in the future!

Such a great spot for a quiet getaway - the cottage is so sweetly decorated and laid out (roomy too), the neighbours are friendly, and the location isn’t a far drive from two parks with gorgeous walkable beaches when the tide is out. There are plenty of other cottages around but it still feels like your own little escape. Come already prepared with ideas of where to go / what to do if you aren’t the type to stay local and chill, or enjoy going no further than the Blue Goose Restaurant (amazing homemade everything!) and Argyle Provincial Park and then just absorbing the lovely ambience of the cottage. Would definitely go back when back in the area and looking for another getaway, thank you!

Such a wonderful home away from home! The place was comfortable, clean, and just what we needed. Her sweet doggos were the icing on the cake. Such a kind host that would go out of her way to make sure you have an amazing stay! And the local, original art pieces through the home was such a delightful surprise that I thoroughly enjoyed. I actually injured myself while on our trip, and her home was the perfect comfy respite I needed to try and recoup each day so we could still get out a little everyday and still enjoy our vacation. So very thankful for the beautiful space and wonderful host.

Carries cottage was great for our family. Carrie provided a pack and play, and had comfortable beds. Directly across the road from the beach, was nice to walk over with the kids on a low traffic road. Beach felt very private and warm water even in September. She had lots of beach toys and beach chairs. Only about 20-25 minutes from Charlottetown it was a great location. Not far from Victoria where there are some great restaurants. They have a great yard and enjoyed sitting on the deck with our coffee watching the kids play. The kids loved the outdoor shower to wash the sand off after the beach.

We had such a great stay! The views were absolutely stunning, especially the sunset which made every evening feel extra special. The place was really comfortable with spacious bedrooms and very clean. The hot tub was perfect for unwinding at the end of a long day. The location was also great, nice and central for day trip adventures. Our hosts were very accommodating and made everything easy. Definitely recommend this spot if you’re looking for a peaceful, scenic getaway!

This is a wonderful cottage. There is plenty of space, it is very clean, and well organized. It is well stocked and has everything you will need to move right in. Lots of storage areas and a big kitchen. Comfortable beds and furniture. The grounds outside of the cottage are beautiful and peaceful. Our favourite feature was the AC, it was quite hot and humid outside so having AC was so appreciated! It is a short drive to beautiful beaches, Cows ice cream, and tasty restaurants. My family loved our stay. We left feeling very relaxed and wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend this cottage.
