Beatriz's little house

Hello! We are Sonia, Elio and our daughter Beatriz. Our goal is to make your vacation unforgettable!! Welcome to our home!! The "Casinha da Beatriz" is located in Santana, land of typical houses, ex-libris and tourist poster of the island of Madeira. They were houses composed of an attic, where agricultural products were kept, and a ground floor with the living area. We rebuilt one of these typical "little houses," dating back to 1950, with all the comforts of today. It overlooks the sea/mountains.

Come stay at an old winemakers house that has been beautifully renovated by your host and family with open plan and airy living. Situated on the north side of the island, there is a small bar/cafe in the village which is a 5 minute drive, a large supermarket and many restaurants/cafes in Santana which is a 10 minute drive.The weather can be hot and humid but also bring fresh wind and rain. In the summer months the house stays cools, there is a log burner and plenty of blankets to keep you cosy.

Uni WATER Studio

Wake up to absolute mind blowing scenery in this mezzanine featuring floor to ceiling high windows facing the island's stunning coastline, often requiring a second look to truly appreciate the beauty that this magnificent island has to offer. The mezzanine accommodates two people, has an ensuite bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and also has access to its own private garden. Needless to say, our infinity pool is also there for you to enjoy and relax. Free parking is available in Jardim do Mar.

"Just Nature 1" Madeira Island -Boaventura

"Just nature 1" is located in Boaventura-S. Vicente An ideal place for walking wrapped in protected Laurisilva, where the only sound you can hear is the sound of the birds! Absorb the amazing views of the northen part of Madeira island, and meet the insides of the Laurissilva by going on walk in "Levada da Origem", located at 100 meters from the house. Near the house there is also a minimarket, where you can meet Mr. José, ask for the local drink, and get to know a bit more about Boaventura.

O nosso conceito é a natureza no seu estado mais puro, desligando das tecnologias e do stress do dia a dia. Para poder desfrutar e interagir com a natureza na sua plenitude, retiramos dos abrigos todas as tecnologias, nomeadamente Wi-Fi e televisão. Apenas a receção tem Wi-fi. Os nossos abrigos ficam situados dentro do Parque Ecológico do Funchal, com uma área de 8 km2. O Parque possui vários percursos pedestres recomendados, Canyoning, um percurso de Enduro BTT, entre outras actividades.

Palheiro Jardim Avó Graça [Grandma Graça's Garden]

The sea and the mountains are so close to you. Nature at its best. This site shows what the typical shelter of the ancient shepherds here on Madeira Island called Palheiro was like. Its function was to be the shelter for the shepherd/farmer to put the animals and store the products taken from the land and their food, such as cattle and goats. It was a place without great resources, very simple. The Palheiro do Jardim da Avó Graça is SLIGHTLY adapted to our times. It is a Rustic Place.

Located in the north-western part of the island ,its an amazing location protected by conservation laws that have kept the area free of over development. With epic mountain and sea-views (the photos don't do it justice) the tents are located 450m above the coastline. If a place to relax and unwind is what you after then this would be the place to come to. There are also some amazing levada walks to explore in the area.There are three tents on the property so you might neighbours.

Agapanthus is an apartment studio inside "Quinta das hortensias", a small resort in rural settlement caracterized by a particular architectural, historical and artistic value. It is composed by 4 apartments in two separate houses set in a beautiful tropical garden. Agapanthus is located on the first floor and enjoys a spectacular view of the ocean. The studio has a bedroom, living room with kitchenette, a spacious windowed bathroom, very bright and comfortable.
