Great house, even better garden! We had a very pleasant stay.

Joana’s place was more than we imagined! It was actually 2 individual apartments in one house, each with room for 2 families, though we were just 2 couples. The privacy and the beach view were worth the stairs climb!! The stairs are a workout!!! Joana was an amazing host. Would recommend highly!

It has been sometime since I stayed in a real home-y and cosy house like Betty's. Our whole group (two families with small children ) was very pleasantly surprised by this beautifully decorated home. There were many essentials as well as some offerings by the host readily available. The location(although not very close to the historic center) is fantastic as it is possible to walk to some famous rock pools and a beach, as well as many restaurants, a mall and a supermarket. Would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat.

Raquel’s place was absolutely impeccable. After five nights of hopping between different beds, my friend and I felt so lucky to land here for three restful nights — exactly what we needed. The space had everything we could have asked for and more. The check-in process was super easy, and Raquel had everything clearly laid out with thoughtful instructions. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us — it truly felt like a breath of fresh air.

Beautiful house. The driveway is easy to miss if you're not paying close attention the first time. Well equipped kitchen. Next to a walking trail by the sea. Well situated to drive to other attractions around the island. Fanal forest, P Moniz, Santana, PR16, were not far away.

Amazing location in picturesque village

Family home, pleasant in a very nice quiet village without a car. We fell under the spell of Jardim do Mar, its small alleys with its typical gardens! Thank you Sofia, we felt at home 😊🙏

We loved staying in Corinas well equipped unit. 2 large light filled bedrooms, 2 bathrooms was great with 3 of us and the living area is spacious . We loved the balcony with great view especially at night with the lights of the town and hills. We loved the kitchen eatery as well with beautiful views. Having a parking space within the complex was wonderful! Enjoyed the roof terrace as well. Thanks Corina!

This place was amazing! The house took a little bit to get to, some stairs and pathways, but once there, the view was breath taking, the accommodations amazing, and the host excellent. João met us to help us navigate down the first time, and was super accommodating and helpful. Calheta was a great location for us as a base to see the rest of the island and the beach and waterfront was really nice to walk along. I would highly recommend staying here on your trip.

We had a fantastic time on the island. In addition to the nature that makes Madeira so fascinating, we were also able to spend some very relaxing days in our accommodation. Everything was just like in the pictures, so we could start our vacation with a great feeling. The accommodation was modern, clean and very luxurious with a pool and the number of rooms, each with its own bathroom. And who wouldn't want to wake up with a view of the sea? Wonderful. Henrique was also easy to contact if we had any questions and check-in with the key box was very simple. There is a small supermarket in this small town if you need anything. Otherwise, Calheta is not far away with larger shopping facilities. There are a few restaurants within walking distance of the accommodation, although the accommodation with its large kitchen and outdoor grill is of course also perfect for a meal. Thank you for a wonderful time in Madeira, we'd love to come back!

The accommodation was simply great and exceeded our expectations! The house is really huge, you have a lot of space and privacy, even if you are traveling as a group. The pool was heated at our request and the temperature was very pleasant. It's simply a dream to be able to watch the sunset while lying in the pool. The amenities were also great, everything we needed was there. In addition, a garage, we could park the second car in front of the gate. The location was quiet, only on weekends there is a lot going on in the restaurants at the end of the street, also many motorcyclists who are not exactly quiet. But it was still fine. Overall, the accommodation is highly recommended and the landlord is very friendly.

This condo was beautiful, clean, and had an amazing view. Plenty of seating, close to a grocery store and many restaurants. The infinity pool which looked over the ocean was lovely. We would definitely recommend.

upon arrival we were very well received by Ana. She explained everything to us and we were even able to arrive a little early at the apartment. She gave us tips for sightseeing, dining, and also told us the nearest supermarket. Ana was at her best!!! The apartment is perfect, there is everything you need even more than we imagined. Thank you for everything! We were able to fully enjoy this beautiful island. And Gabriel spent almost all his evenings in the pool 😄 thank you again from all 3 of us

I would just recommend that you not follow the navigation route exactly on your phone. What I would say is when you are getting close that it tries to send you up a steep narrow inclining road/alley that is actually used as a one way road downhill by the locals. So if the directions take you to that road just continue on towards the west from there until you come to the next road that looks like a normal road and not an alleyway. The roads are very curvy through that area and as I mentioned you'll be heading west-ish but then road 222 curves north-ish. Once that northward drive starts to switchback you will see the road you should take, there's a bus stop structure there. You will then be turning right (north) at that intersection. Once you head up that way your navigation should reroute and get you there easily. Hope that helps, lol! I wish I could give you a snapshot of my maps, but I'm not able to do so in this review.

We spent four wonderful nights in Madalena do Mar and the experience couldn't have been better. The village is charming, quiet and perfect for disconnecting, with stunning sea views and sunsets that seem like a postcard. The accommodation exceeded our expectations: clean, comfortable and with all the details well thought out to make you feel at home. We loved waking up every morning to the sound of the sea in the background and enjoying breakfast on the terrace overlooking the banana plantations and the Atlantic. The location is ideal for exploring the island: close to Calheta, Ponta do Sol and other points of interest, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle to enjoy peace and nature. In addition, the locals were incredibly kind and hospitable. You can feel the warmth of the people in Madeira. In short, it was a perfect getaway. We would recommend this area (and this accommodation) without hesitation, and we hope to return very soon.

If you’re looking for a quiet coastal cottage in Madeira this place is perfect. The view is beautiful with restaurants right around the corner. You’re steps away from the beach and beautiful hiking trails. The house is small but well kept and was very comfortable for two guests

We had a wonderful stay at Celina’s home. The view from the balcony was stunning, especially at night and we felt right now home. The hot tub and bath tub were a bonus as well. One thing to note is that there was a tourist fee of €16 which we don’t believe was in the description. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a quieter place to stay.

Scott’s place is a great place, not only because the back porch gave an EXCELLENT view, but there was a bus stop right outside the gate! Waking up and coming back to the gorgeous ocean view made our stay worth every penny!

This place is very nice! It has a beautiful view, on a quiet street with a lots of privacy. Inside was bigger than we expected and very cosy. It has everything you need and we really felt at home and relaxed. There is a steep but short walk directly to the center, with some good restaurants and a grocery store. Zeza is very responsive, enthusiastic and friendly. If we go back to Madeira, we will come back!

We had a fantastic stay at Filipe’s home, which is beautiful and really thoughtfully designed. It’s very well appointed, spotlessly clean and in a very charming little village away from the hustle and bustle of Funchal, but still accessible by car. Communication was excellent and the fruit and biscuits were a lovely touch. Highly recommended.

Carla was a wonderful host! She provided detailed instructions, was responsive to our questions, and the apartment was very well appointed. The kitchen had everything you could need! Enjoying coffee on the deck, overlooking the water, was an unforgettable experience.

A great house in a beautiful location! You can't get any closer to the sea and the sound of the sea accompanies you day and night. The house is very tastefully decorated and super clean. You make yourself at home straight away! Constantino is very helpful and has great tips. Without him, we would never have found the little beach in Seixal... We were here 14 days and enjoyed every minute. Thank you, Constantino!
