Blåkulla is located in the middle of Föglö conveniently next to the highway. Outside the door you are greeted by lush green forest. On the other side of the house, there is a large lawn for all the summer outdoor activities. The house is charmingly decorated in retro style and on the hill outside there is a terrace with dining furniture and a view of the lake. Outside the living room, there is also a veranda with seating under the roof. On the property, there is also a small cabin (without heating) with a bunk bed where two people can stay overnight. These sleeping places are counted as extra.

The cottage has three bedrooms and a living room/kitchen, perfect for families or friends who want to spend quality time together. The plot is large with lawn and several patios perfect for dining or relaxation. On the beach, there is a wood-fired sauna and a private dock. Two-person kayak and SUP board are available to borrow for those who want to explore the lake from the water. The cottage is about 30 minutes from Mariehamn.

Välkomna till att koppla av i detta boende vid havet i Torsholma/Brändö. Stugan är renoverad 2025 och ligger 60 m från klipporna. Du har fri tillgång till bastu, som kan avslutas med ett dopp i havet från badstegen från bryggan. I hyran ingår lakan och handduk. Är man ett större sällskap kan man också hyra den gröna stugan som ligger i närheten. Gemensamt med Gula stugan finns fiskrök, grill och lusthus. Det finns möjlighet att hyra roddbåt. Stugan ligger ca 2,5 km från Hummelholms färjfäste.

Peaceful guest house right by the sea, sauna and kayak

Den lille hytten ligger mellom Mariehamn og Langnäs. Du kan låna to kajakker og kan bade fra bryggen eller stranden. Kanskje også bade bastu? Hytten har ikke innlagt rennende vann, men det har huset 10m opp, der kan du vaske klær, gå på toalett og dusje. Den har enkelt kjøkkenutstyr som skåler, bestikk osv. Den er også utstyrt med grill, mikrobølgeovn, kjøleskap, kaffetrakter, vannkoker og brødrister. Kveldssol på terrassen. Separat utedass finnes. Sengetøy, frokost og båttur etter avtale.

Picturesque cottage with the sea as the only neighbor!

Welcome to Lunsberg! Here, life is quiet and close to nature. Light a fire in the wood sauna, warm yourself by the fireplace and let the days go by. The cottage is about 50 sqm with kitchen/living room, bedroom, a generous loft and large terrace. Perhaps the best view of the plot can be found on the outdoor toilet, which is located just behind the cottage. Down by the sea, there is a sheltered jetty if you want to get to Lunsberg with your own boat or just swim after the sauna.

Lönnebo Lillstuga

Simple little cottage by Bomarsund area, wood-fired sauna, electricity, water. Kitchenette, seating, veranda. Lush yard with a pond, fireplace, barbecue area. Beach, cliffs by the sea, fishing water; a few hundred meters. Location by a cultural historical trail with a lookout tower. Close to ferries to the archipelago and buses to Mariehamn. Possibility to rent a bike, buy basic goods. Extra room in the house next door if needed (fee). Camping is also available.

Idas stuga

Idas stuga är ett minihus med havet och skogen som grannar. I närheten ligger flera sommarstugor, bland annat värdparets. Observera att under högsäsong i juli vistas flera sommargäster i samma område. Under de kvällar som dansbandsveckan i Degerby ordnas hörs ljud därifrån som kan uppfattas som störande. Den här säsongen serveras vår omtyckta frukostkorg endast lördagar och söndagar. Den ingår i priset och om den önskas så beställs den på förhand.

Cosy house on Kökar

Enjoy a beautiful stay at our newly renovated house. The property offers modern amenities, with a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with private sauna. The secluded balcony enjoys mid-day and evening sun, as well as a glimpse of the nearby bay. Mangårdsbyggnaden är från 1890, totalrenoverad 2021 och fullt modernt i gammal stil, tänd en brasa i spisarna sätt dig i gungstolen och njut av stillheten. Huset har en skäl som andas lugn och ro. Åland, Sund charming house near Kastelholm/Bomarsund

The cottage (Fridhem), which was originally a bakery, was moved from a small village to its current location in the 1950s, when it was also rebuilt into the current house. The cottage is located on highway 2, in between Kastelholm and Bomarsund, about 5 km in each direction. Bus stop is close, 25 km to Mariehamn. There are bike paths nearby, beautiful forest roads as well. See my guide for tips.
