Casa Mugango

Casa Mugango is in Cunha, in the Campos Novos district, about 25 km from the center, with 19 km of paved roads. It is located inside Cabanha Bocaina, a rural site. It is a refuge from the hustle and bustle, a calm environment with the proximity of Nature and country life. The house is surrounded by fragments of forest. Wild animals, insects, spiders and toads can be found, even with periodic fumigations. During the rainy season, we recommend a 4x4 vehicle. I do transfers at no cost, to be agreed upon!

Juçaras refuge with the Alambari River in the backyard

Refúgio das Juçaras is a typical forest house, rustic, clean, cozy and surrounded by giant stones that make the land enchanted. The house is within an Environmental Protection Area, embedded in nature, including juçara palm trees, ferns and other beauties of the Atlantic Forest. At the bottom of the land passes the crystalline Alambari River, which separates our land from the Itatiaia National Park. The house is in a region close to the emerald wells of Serrinha. It's an enchanted place!

The green vegetation is all around you and the best gift is to enjoy the crystal clear water of our river and waterfall,where you will dive and contemplate the untouched forest. At night the moon and starry sky invite us to good conversations inspired by wine and the warmth of the fireplace.

Chalet 1 to relax in nature

We have 2 chalets available for booking, called Chalet 1 and Chalet 2. If this one is unavailable on the date of interest, try Chalet 2. If you can't find the other chalet, you can contact us and we'll send you the Airbnb link. Our chalet is located within our property, but with exclusive space around it for guests. The chalet is on a plateau overlooking the valley in a quiet setting for relaxation. The chalet is ideal for 3 people, and can accommodate a maximum of 4 people.

Ninho do Condado dos Guapuruvus House. Is it a treehouse? Yes and no. A suspended chalet? Yes and no. A cabin? A kind of nest house? Yeah, maybe so. Definitely an experience. 2 floors and a ground floor. Almost a little building. I decided to share and make it available whenever the demand is for a maximum of 4 people. Fireplace, sauna, thermal sheet… next to a river… we do not accept visits without prior authorization. We have an extra cottage for the second couple.

Uttara-Gita is a small house surrounded by Atlantic Forest, in front of Rio das Pedras, next to a gentle stream. It is located within the Sítio Pé da Serra. It has Wi-Fi (fiber optic). The space is for those who like nature and want to enjoy the silence, relaxation and freshness of the forest. In rainy seasons, the natural humidity of the forest increases. The quality of sleep intensifies because in the forest, sleep becomes more restorative and relaxing.

Flats with the feeling of being in a comfortable home, with an equipped kitchen, bed and bath linens, a space for a home office, swimming pool, a wooded area with a gazebo, hammocks, a barbecue area (subject to availability) and parking. The Ground Floor category consists of flats either facing the internal patio or the avenue, depending on availability. Beautiful house, clean, spacious and brightly lit. Located in an area of 1300 m2, with a gourmet balcony with a barbecue and a wood-burning oven, facing a green area. It has a private pool on the adjacent land. Great for relaxing and hanging out with friends. The house has beds for ten people, plus two mattresses in the bedroom and 2 mattresses on the gourmet balcony sofa that can be used to accommodate up to 14 people

New house, newly built (2024), accommodates up to 4 people with comfort and convenience. In the heart of Penedo, we are in the upper part of the Center, close to the Finnish Museum. With an amazing view of Pico do Penedinho, the mountain where the history of Penedo began. - We provide all bedding (sheet, bedspread, blanket, quilt and 1 pillow per guest); - Bath and face towels are provided for the entire stay.
