the accommodation was grand and spacious. the bedrooms were comfortable. there was issue with the bathroom doors not able to close. the host was responsive and said will get fixed. the common areas felt a bit hot due to lack of fans or ac. host said will adress this. overall will recommend this place

Great place to stay. Gamini’s caretaker was helpful and house looks great. Thoroughly enjoyed visiting anuradhapura and vilpattu national park.

Everything very good and great facility. Only the monkeys at night could have been a little quieter, but that's part of it in my opinion. Good location and large parking

The cabana is modern and beautiful, with a lovely garden surrounding it. The place felt very cozy and The staff was very helpful and quick to answer any questions and booked a safari for us. They were also kind enough to prepare breakfast in advance to take with us on a very early hike. We did have an instance where we were waiting for food that we ordered for very long which was annoying, but this was simply a miscommunication from both sides, as we assumed it was room service rather than at the restaurant area. The daytime was full of lovely nature sounds, but at night it was a bit noisy from other properties nearby playing loud music. There are restaurants within walking distance, but sites such as Sigiriya rock are 20 mins away by car. Overall, would highly recommend to stay here!

I recommend Nilambara Lake View to everyone. The place is located few kilometers from the road, it’s peaceful, you can relax in the pool. The host is also really helpful, breakfasts are delicious! :)

We had a wonderful time at this unique Airbnb! The location is perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy peace and nature. We were particularly impressed by the excellent cuisine – each dish was a real highlight. The pool area invites you to relax, and you can watch the surrounding wildlife, which is a very special experience. The house is open and very secluded, which has determined the charm of the place for us. However, this could be unusual for some guests. But if you're looking for a combination of relaxation, nature and excellent food, this is the place to be! We will be happy to come back.

The place was clean, with fresh bed linen and well-kept furniture. The air conditioning in bedrooms was a big plus during the hot weather and made the stay much more comfortable. It was also conveniently close to some nice restaurants, which made going out for meals really easy. Special thanks to Simon, the caretaker—he was friendly, always nearby, and super helpful with anything we needed. Overall, a pleasant and easy stay!

The location is perfect, with easy access to the Anuradhapura Sacred City, restaurants, hospitals, and supermarkets within 10 minutes. The cleanliness is outstanding, making it a rare gem worth every penny. Highly recommended for a safe, home-like stay, ideal for preparing meals and Kiri Ahara. Nice accommodation. Very well received by caretaker Simon and his wife. They even made us delicious breakfast. Dear people. Close to a beautiful park with playground and eateries. Beautiful large balcony where you can sit. From there we have seen a lot of monkeys and squirrels. Highly recommended!
