Cabin holiday rentals in Angelus Oaks

My wife and I wanted a quick get-away where we can soak in a tub and indulge while taking in some peaceful scenery, and this was exactly what we were looking for. Check in was quick and easy and just as the instructions described. Getting into the unit was easy as well and the double sliding doors was absolutely amazing to have for the view. Pots, pans and mostly everything you’d need to run a kitchen is available. Macayla and Jon provided local coffee and wine along with a list of local restaurants, great surprise that we weren’t expecting but follows the theme of the unit as well. Great attention to detail and has everything you need. Perfect stay for us with nothing but positive things to say. My wife and I discussed it and we’ll absolutely be back. 10/10

This place was absolutely perfect! It had everything we needed and more. It was close to everything, but also secluded and relaxing. Definitely would recommend this to everyone.

We had a brilliant few days staying at the fabulous cabin in Big Bear. Timothy was proactive with sharing great local tips and checking we were okay during our stay. The cabin was perfect for our family to relax and watch the local nature; chipmunks, bunnies and rabbits. We loved the hot tub for relaxing after a busy day on our feet. Thanks for having us!

We had such a beautiful stay! Kaitlyn is super responsive and a thoughtful host. The home is thoughtfully decorated, the beds were super comfortable, and the view was peaceful and serene. The location was perfect — close enough to everything we needed, but tucked away just enough to feel like a true escape from our typical LA hustle. We especially loved grilling dinner and relaxing in the hot tub under the stars. A perfect weekend getaway spot!

My husband and 2 children loved our stay at Kirstan's cabin! The cabin was comfortable and beautifully designed. There were many fun games both inside and outside the cabin. The outdoor space was huge and fun to explore. The cabin was clean and everything waa easy to find. Kirstan was a very responsive and friendly host. We would love to stay at Kirstan's cabin again on a future visit to Big Bear!

One word, AWESOME! As soon as you walk in you feel at home, from the ambiance to even the smell of the house. It helped make you forgot all of life’s stresses and live in the moment, enjoy the amazing views, and family bonding. The cabin itself was really clean, smelled great, well equipped kitchen with everything you would need and more, comfortable beds, couches, closet full of board games, and can’t forget the pac-man game. Outside they have string lighting, with outdoor sectional with a propane outdoor firepit to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The jacuzzi feels amazing especially after a busy day exploring. The cabin is near local hikes, local village with souvenirs shops and places to eat. Overall my experience here was great, the host were fast to respond and also included a small book of local recommendations which was very helpful.

This is a very cozy and cute cabin—perfect for a relaxing break! * The photos and descriptions are spot-on. * Spotlessly clean—we couldn't find a single hair or pet fur anywhere. * The kitchen is fully equipped, making it easy to cook just like at home. * The host is thoughtful and responsible, providing clear instructions and responding promptly. * Loved the extra touches like the E-scooter and SUP board—they were fun ways to pass the time. Overall, we had a wonderful time and truly enjoyed our stay. The only small downside was that the bathroom felt a bit tight for a taller or bigger person—but everything else made up for it. Highly recommend!

Jim’s home was very cozy & had all the amenities needed for a weekend getaway. We really appreciated his fast communication. 10/10 recommend! :)

Our family enjoyed our stay at Green Valley Lake, taking in the sunset each night, cooking meals on the gas grill, and lounging inside and out--plenty of space to relax or work remotely. The kitchen had everything we needed. We had a small issue during our stay which was resolved by the hosts, who were very responsive.

William’s place was super cute and peaceful! Home looked exactly like the pictures and was very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

Brandon and Valerie were very responsive and accommodating. Great recommendations and very clear instructions on how to get in and what was expected. The cabin is cozy and perfect for a couple with a pup. The fire pit was nice at night and our dog loved the backyard!

This was a great place to stay in big bear. It wasn’t too far from the town and only a 10 minute drive to Snow Summit where we had our race. For 7 people, it might be kind of small with only 1 shower, but we made it work. It was nice and cozy. The heater was good and the water was nice and hot. I liked how there was a chess board outside which was really cool. Note: When we arrived, the place wasn’t cleaned up. We notified our host immediately and she got back to us with a solution that resolved our issues. The cleaning lady came by and cleaned it up well, our host gave us a partial refund with the cleaning fee, and an extra night stay which helped us after our race.

This home fully lived up to the high ratings and reviews. It's a beautiful location, and the interiors are well appointed and stylish, without feeling precious. As a family with a large dog, we were especially grateful to have such a lovely home with a fenced in yard that allowed us all to travel together. Aside from the house itself, Stephanie was an incredibly responsive host and responded immediately to any questions that came up. Overall, a delightful stay at a beautiful property, we would absolutely love to return.

I absolutely loved my stay at the cabin! The space was serene, stylish and thoughtfully curated which was just the kind of energy I needed. Everything aligned with rest and restoration! The place was spotless, the bed was super comfy, and the outdoor space was a beautiful bonus. I appreciated the attention to detail and clear communication.

This was the perfect space for our “reading vacation”. Very peaceful, lots of cozy spots to curl up with a book or sit and chat. We had planned to get out and explore for a bit, but everyone was so comfortable that we opted to cook and stay in the whole time! The space looked just like the pictures and was clean and tidy when we arrived. We especially appreciated that the check-out instructions weren’t over the top, which can be the case with a place as cute this. The To Dwell here team was kind and responsive in all of our communication. Highly recommend!

Amy is a fantastic host! This small home was perfect to come back to after a day exploring Big Bear. It was cozy, clean, and Amy provided everything we needed for a weekend stay.

Looked exactly like the pictures, was a lovely and cute cabin! It was close by to shops, restaurants, etc. but far away enough to still have some privacy and quiet. Would definitely recommend!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 Stay! The house in Big Bear was incredibly cozy and well-kept. We especially loved the DVD player and the great selection of movies—it was such a fun touch! The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxing. The host was extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The back porch was beautifully shaded and maintained, and the front porch had two charming chairs that were perfect for morning coffee. All in all, a fantastic experience—10 out of 10!

Nice, peaceful cabin located in the beautiful alpine mountains. Everything is as described in the listing.

Simply put, a great value considering a private residence in the mountains and not a motel. Neighborhood is small and off the highway so you don’t hear any traffic. Lots to do/see: Look up Cold Creek Falls, a waterfall literally 2-3 mins away. Also, the neighborhood road ‘Mountain Home Creek Road’ turns into a 6-mile trail with multiple creek crossings that would take you all the way down near Forest Falls. Forest Falls is 15 mins away and great spot to sit by the creek/river (on Hwy 38 there’s plenty of free roadside parking) or there’s a few trailheads. And Oak Glen is 30 mins away. Cons of the place: 1. lighting (both natural/window light and light fixtures) was a little dimmer than expected 2. The back porch is being fixed up so couldn’t use that area. I imagine it will be great when completed! 3. On one of two nights there was a dog barking for a several hours, and neighborhood dogs were annoying, but I’m personally more sound sensitive and don’t like dogs.

Exceeded my expectations, which were high from the photos. Gorgeous views no matter where you look or go, inside or outside the cabin. I downloaded maps/directions for offline use and with the photos and instructions given had no problems finding the road and cabin. Personally I appreciated the lack of reception & TV. Didn’t have issues waking up through the night or with mice in general, as others have reported. I did keep all food inside the fridge and cleaned up after every meal, so maybe just don’t leave crumbs/food out. Would love to come back, just perfectly fit what we wanted in every way.

We had an amazing stay at this cozy spot! My girlfriend and I spent two beautiful days here and absolutely loved it. The place had a great vibe we especially enjoyed the vinyl player with its awesome collection and the huge selection of board games. It made our evenings super fun and relaxing. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway in Big Bear!!
