Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Angelina County

Jason was a wonderful host, and his cabin is a fantastic find for a trip to the lake. The cabin is incredibly easy to find. Checking in was incredibly easy, especially if you're traveling with the family. The loft is a great hangout spot if you have kids, and the cabin itself has plenty of room, a great bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a fantastic view both from the wraparound porch and from the living room. I highly recommend renting from him, especially if you're looking for a worry free weekend at the lake with loved ones, or alone. I will absolutely be back 🤙.

What a great place to have a family vacation! The house has everything you need. The flat pad, paddle boards, and kayaks were awesome. The kids had a blast playing on the beach. The outdoor kitchen area is awesome for grilling and the cowboy pool was perfect For relaxing. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to get away. Beautiful sunrises over the lake and very quiet and peaceful. The host is fantastic and was very responsive when I had questions. I would give this 10 stars if I could. We will definitely be back!

We stayed at the Lakehouse for a long weekend while celebrating our daughter’s graduation from SFA. We had family drive down to stay with us from Iowa. First off, the house was incredibly beautiful and so well set up. The hosts have thought of everything! The kitchen is extremely well stocked with pots, pans, and even a crockpot! There was a fully stocked coffee bar as well! Each of the bathrooms had shampoo and conditioner. They even had extra toothbrushes and toothpaste in case we forgot ours. My in-laws mentioned many times how this was the nicest place they had ever stayed at. They kept talking about how comfortable the beds were and how soft the towels were. The host allowed us to have a brunch with a few friends to celebrate our daughter’s graduation and we could not have asked for a more perfect location. The kitchen is spacious and the living room space was large yet inviting. Spent every morning drinking coffee on the enclosed back porch. It was lovely. We highly recommend it

The stay was perfect for what we needed when in town for a family reunion. Had everything we needed to cook the food for our family reunion. Directions for check in & out were clear. The front & back yard were nicer than the photos. My only small suggestions for future guests would be having a tv in the room with the twin beds for the kids & the beds could use an upgrade as far as the quality of the mattress. The host was responsive, and even offered us a late check out due to change on schedule from her clean up crew. I would definitely recommend this house for future guests.

We so enjoyed our week at Mandy's place. The kitchen was fully stocked so we could cook all our meals. The beds were comfortable with plenty of extra blankets and pillows. The house with it's surrounding pine and oak trees made it peacefully quiet, giving us the outdoor porch time and the long strolls on their paved back roads to enjoy the slow paced country life. The covered carport for our vehicle, was greatly appreciated for the stormy weather days. It was a pleasure to meet Mandy and she was prompt to answer any questions we had. This is rural East Texas in all it's glory. A great place for some R&R.

Peaceful, relaxing time that we needed. The pond is great as well as the beautiful cabin. We plan on staying again at this great place!

Needed a last minute trip out of town and this place was exactly what we needed. It was very private and peaceful. Looks just like the pictures but better. Host is very kind and responsive.

In town for training. Craig’s place was the perfect alternative to staying in a hotel for a week. Will stay here again next time I’m n town.

Stayed here for 2 1/2 weeks for work. Craig was very communicative and always messaged back in a timely manner. Place was cozy and clean. Felt just like home!

Craig’s place was very comfortable! We arrived on a cold rainy day, when we got in it was nice & warm for us already with the heater on. It’s located in a nice and quiet neighborhood, with lots of stores near by. Will definitely rebook in the future :)
