Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Anfield

Beautiful cottage, loved the decor, bigger inside than outside, absolutely loved it. Great view at the back of the historic cemetery. Very welcoming, cosy vibe. We will definitely be returning. Hosts are great at communicating. Fabulous find !!!

Lovely stay. Excellent access to the coastline, 10 minutes walk. Nice to stay away from the hubbub of Liverpool but have it only 15 minutes away on the train. There are also good local cafes, bakeries, pubs and restaurants for anyone who doesn't fancy going into town. Couldn't fault the house; quiet, clean and spacious with a nice outside space. Highly recommended

We’ve just returned from a lovely stay at Joanne’s while visiting family. The property is very comfortable and we were made very welcome, including with a very generous hamper of local produce and fresh eggs. The house is set in a very peaceful and picturesque part of the Lancashire countryside.

First of all, what a friendly and accommodating guy Carl was! He allowed us to pick up keys early, so that we could get on and enjoy our day in Liverpool, whereas he easily could have said no. Plenty of free street parking nearby (if you can’t get the few outside the house) and a fairly peaceful little street in general. Stones throw from the train station made it ideal for us getting into the city. The house was lovely and pristine. Although the weather was against us, the outside private patio area would have been lovely to have enjoyed late into the evening. Thoroughly impressed and would certainly consider coming back the next time I’m this way. Thank you Car!

House as described and was clean. Location was good, easy to get into central Liverpool and there were a few nice bars and restaurants in walking distance. Overall a good house at a good price for the location.

Were visiting relatives so did not go into the city however there are plenty of buses available to do so. The derby arms was just around the corner for drinks and food and the Elephant Bakehouse a little further but our favourite.

We had a delightful stay at this cosy cottage,reflecting this beautiful building in the historic village,Port sunlight.There is plenty to do and explore. The hosts made our stay very comfortable and stress free! Thank you for sharing your home.

Felt like a home from home, as it is David’s home. Made to feel very welcome and able to relax in comfortable surroundings. Very handy for City and attractions - would definitely recommend for a short break in the city🙂

Staying at Stewart’s place was a pleasure. The location was peaceful place to stay, the home was cozy and clean, and Stewart was always available to answer our questions. Highly recommended..

Perfect venue to accommodate us whilst waiting for our house purchase to complete. Particularly liked self contained accommodation with own access door and all on the one level - no stairs. A real bonus was the weekly fresh bedding and towelling and general cleanup as we were here for 5 weeks. We had no issues during our stay but on the occasions that we saw Karen she always checked that everything was ok. Thank you Karen.

This was our second visit to Lynne's place and once again we had a wonderful time. Lynne was a congenial host and the apartment had everything as described. A two minute walk takes one down to the River Mersey foreshore with paved footpath alongside, and Anthony Gormley's "The Men" can be seen en route. From the kitchen the view of the garden and over to the West Lancashire Golf Course is delightful. Parking right outside and short walk to train station were a bonus. We look forward to another return visit one day.

We had a fantastic stay at Ken’s flat. Communication was excellent—Ken was responsive and made everything smooth from booking to check-out. The flat was clean, cosy, and exactly as described, with convenient on-road parking right in front. We especially appreciated the thoughtful local tips provided on the kitchen notice board—they were super helpful for exploring the area. Overall, a great experience. Would definitely stay again.
