This is our happy place and we hope you will love it, too! Our secluded house by the lake is two bedroom (one master with a king-size and a 2nd bedroom with 4 kid bunk beds, room to sleep on the couch, too), two bath, full kitchen, washer, dryer, games, gas fire pit, deck, deck by the lake, dock, tall trees, and tranquility. Near the south end of the lake and it is shallow. Great fishing. THE HOUSE HAS A FAINT CIGARETTE SMELL. FEW NOTICE. DO NOT BOOK IF YOU HAVE ANY SORT OF SMOKE SENSITIVITIES.

Fox Cove was a wonderful place for me and my wife to spend time at for our wedding anniversary. The place was very cozy, peaceful, and had everything we needed. We spent most of our time at the boathouse, lounging, fishing, and floating. Although we brought our own, the drinks and food that was available in the fridge and pantry were a nice touch of hospitality. The property was also very nice for our dog, as she loved exploring and due to the secluded and roomy setting of the property, we felt comfortable allowing her to roam a bit.we also enjoyed all the wildlife, fox, raccoons, and birds. We really did not need anything while there, but Suzanne was great to communicate with. If you are looking for a peaceful place to relax and enjoy peace and God’s creation, this is a wonderful place to do it at!

I wish I didn't have a word limit, because this is the greatest AirBNB experience I've ever had. We were blown away - it so far exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect because you're 10 minutes from all the fun but you're far enough out that you feel safe, peaceful, and relaxed. The house is a dream, but the hosts and the property are what made it magical. Roland and his sweet wife are truly some of the kindest and most welcoming people I have ever encountered, I joked that I wished they could adopt us! And their property is a labor of love, built by Roland himself. Take quiet walks on the cobblestone paths and visit the cows and the fig trees, sip on coffee on the covered porch in the rocking chairs, or walk over to their little lake for a serene sunset. Truly I cannot say enough good things about this place. It has a piece of our hearts now. <3 And also, they were SO SWEET to our doggy who had just as great of a time here!!! :) Thank you Roland. We can't wait to come back.

Our stay at the cabin was relaxing and peaceful. We had the perfect weekend of chilling on the deck in front of the pond watching the birds and pretty skies. The stars at night are so pretty. The cabin was clean, cozy and had everything we needed. Slept like babies. We left twice to eat at the Redlands Hotel Grill restaurant which was delicious, and we also had a walk around Davey Dogwood Park another day which was really pretty. I would love to see it when the Dogwoods are flowering. Nadean left bread and eggs we ate for breakfast. Farm fresh eggs and homemade bread are the best. I also bought some of their farm steaks Yummy. Nadean is quick to respond and very accommodating. This is my first time visiting East Texas and I have to say I loved the tall trees, forests and miles and miles of green fields. Made this Irish girl feel at home. Don't hesitate to book this cabin your mind and body will thank you. I feel rested and recharged.

Oh my god Courtney is amazing and so sweet and nice!!! She responded in less than hour and showed us around her property and petting zoo!!! Petted the sweetest baby goat and sweet guardian dogs that followed and showed us around the fields!!! Lots to do and see with finding berries and grapes and all of sorts of cool finds!!! The cabin was great and so clean!!! I travel every year to random places in Texas with my teacher friends to start summer and this was the best place in all of our years!!!
