Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Ammerschwihr

This chalet is fantastic. We made full use of the Weber BBQ with the lovely weather we had. The chalet is very comfortable and fully equipped, including even an airconditioning. I have a bad back so am not always comfortable in a bed away from home but Laurence’s bed was a dream!

Thérèse was a great host. She is very friendly en responds quickly to messages. She helped us with some additional requests and gave us recommendations for activities in the area. The house is big, in a quiet area and the SPA worked greatly.

We wanted a place to have some peace and quiet in the middle of nature and that is exactly what Amélie’s place is. She lives right next to the stay, however she fully respected our privacy. Amélie explained us very clearly how everything works in the house (dry toilet, how to light and manage the fire place). There is no fridge, but there is a cool room + a water fountain in which you can put the food and it preserves cold. Amélie was very friendly and we communicated very well. All in all, our experience was very nice and we hope to return some day.

We were a family of seven and the house was perfect. Very spacious and extraordinarily beautiful. The surrounding area is just amazing nature with a lovely city a few minutes drive. Beautiful trails around and cute coffee shops and restaurants and supermarkets in the towns around. Everything in the house worked well and was top quality. Anne was very helpful and nice. We would love to come back❤️

Guillaume is a great host. The place is amazing and had everything we needed. It's very private and there are no neighbours, so it's perfect for a retreat. Guillaume showed and explained everything to us during check-in, so we felt right at home. It's a large but still comfortable place with lots of fun activities in and around the house. He even accommodated an early check-in and late check-out for us.

We had a nice holiday in Melissa's accommodation. It has a great garden, which no passers-by pass, so that our dog has a very relaxed time. Since we also cook again and again, we enjoyed the great kitchen with adjoining conservatory, but of course also the large wooden terrace with a large umbrella and beautiful garden furniture. The bakery and small supermarket are within a 5-minute walk. The house is located on the outskirts of the village, so you can quickly roam with the dog across meadows and fields. We went hiking and cycling and looked at the many pretty places. The house is ideal for that. Colmar is only 15 km away and Haut Königbourg, Ribeauvillé, Riquewihr are even closer. Also easily accessible by bike. If you want to go out for a meal, we recommend "La Truite" in the neighbouring town of Illhäusern. Communication with Melissa was excellent. We highly recommend a stay.

Very warm welcome from Nadège who does not hesitate to take her time to advise us on the places to visit in the region. Comfortable, clean and ideally located chalet in relation to the many hikes and visits to do without doing many kms. The dishes are done and the laundry smells good. I won't forget to mention the excellent homemade kouglof accompanied by a local crémant offered to us on arrival. Everything was perfect. We highly recommend it to nature lovers. Thanks again Nadège. Very nice accommodation in the middle of a beautiful rural and forest environment. After our outings during the day, we were happy to return 'home'. Anne-Marie was available and answered our questions… and our chatter.

We had a wonderful stay at Chloé's place. It is very comfortable, a minute's walk to bakeries and bars and has nice views of the mountains and a relaxing balcony. A great, communicative host. We'd definitely stay again.

The house is located in a very quiet place with relative commercial activity, but it is very close to many nearby villages that are very picturesque and with shops and restaurants to enjoy... and all this no more than 15 minutes away by car... the house is very well summarized, with a huge garden and a comfortable interior... very balanced price-quality ratio... we enjoyed touring all the areas.

We were very warmly welcomed and guided directly through the rooms, which immediately gave us a good feeling. The accommodation was fully equipped – we especially liked the beautiful, well-equipped kitchen. It really had everything you need. The outdoor area is a real highlight: the garden is very well maintained, invites you to relax and offers a fantastic view. Overall, the Airbnb is in a quiet residential area, which is very pleasant – but you should also be careful not to be too loud. The fitness equipment is a nice extra and perfectly sufficient for a small workout - but it could be oiled again :) We had a very nice stay overall and would definitely recommend the accommodation! Everything was right here.

The place is great for a few days of outdoor getaways. A perfect little cocoon to unwind. We were very pleasantly surprised by this cozy little place.

Even before our arrival our host was communicative and provided all the information needed. We arrived in the late afternoon and enjoyed the straight forward check in which was explained to us up front. The property is nicely presented with a lot of open space, great natural light due to the large glass doors and amble amenities. The log fire oven is a special treat during a cool evening. The bedrooms are of generous size and the beds comfortable. I also enjoyed the gym which was quite well equipped. The host checked a few times about our wellbeing but we didn’t experience any problems. Overall, the house had all we needed and is situated in a quiet area but not too far from a few local shops. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thanks to a great host.

We were very satisfied with the apartment; very quiet, beautiful views and good amenities. You actually have everything you need for a nice time with family and friends. The hosts were very nice and also flexible when checking out. We would like to recommend them:-)

We loved the place during our stay! It is really beautiful, especially the master suite impressed us. It's a bit remote, but that's exactly what we wanted. A trip to Strasbourg was also possible, about a 50-minute drive. You just can't be on the road without a car😉 I'm sure we'll be back!

Perfect accommodation! We found it even better in real life than in the photos! Nothing was missing, everything was provided, bed linen, bathrobes, towels, slippers. very responsive host! everything is there for a wonderful stay! We were with 5 people in the apartment of Boris. In the middle of Kayserberg, but still easily accessible by car, in an old house with modern equipment, everything worked well, it was quiet and everything within walking distance. Top recommended.
