Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Amistad Reservoir

Our trip to Beverly's place was for a mini-spring break trip for my family. We visited the Caverns of Sonora, Ft. McKavett, and did quite a bit of shopping in Junction. What a great getaway! The views from Beverly's place of the river were stunning, with lots of deer visible on the other side of the river. The house and accommodations were perfect for what we were looking for. Very comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. I would highly recommend Beverly's place. We especially liked the artwork and personal items throughout the house. Very tasteful and obviously collected with care. If we have a need to visit the area again, we would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at Betty's Airbnb was perfect and location is great. The pet friendly aspect was the biggest highlight for us. The pups had room to run and play and expend all of their energy. The only caveat is that the property is very close to Ranch Rd. 337 which is a busy road, and is not fenced off, so do not expect dogs to free range unless they have superb recall or E-collars. The kitchen is well equipped, the home very clean, and the the front and back outdoor space is very nice. It would be great to have a gate closing off the front porch for kids or pups but we did fine. Also a door closing off the upstairs bedroom for privacy would be ideal, but again, we had no problem with it. Our only challenge was the rude "Karen" neighbor who owns the land between the home and the river, so river access is not as easy as it could have been and they claimed to also control who swims in the public waterway in front of their home. Despite that, we had a blast and highly recommend.

Jesse’s place was a great stay! The house was so unique with all the antique furniture and had plenty of space and everything we needed! Totally walkable to restaurants and the town square. We really enjoyed our time in Uvalde!

We loved our stay. Had everything we neaded in the house. Very comfortable & cozy. Loved the peacefulness & serenity of it. Was a little further out than we anticipated from anywhere but was told that in advance. The wildlife was awesome. The kids loved the outdoor shower. Definitely recommend to others.

It’s a really nice and quiet neighborhood you definitely feel safe. The house is very nice to relax with a book or set outside for a while definitely would stay again

Had a great weekend here! Very nice! The water was clear and enjoyable. Give this place 10/10 ! Just have to pay attention when looking for entrance way. Especially if arriving at night!

Lovely and private location on the Frio. The home has a wonderful floorplan featuring two living spaces. Upstairs has 2 bedrooms, living area, large dining area and elevated outdoor patio that gets a nice breeze in the evening. The downstairs has a bedroom but an additional 3 futon that the kids enjoyed sleeping on and a full bathroom. The downstairs area also has a large covered patio area. The home has a well stocked kitchen, is very close to restaurants, stores & Garner State Park. We will definitely stay here again. Temple was quick to reply and very helpful with questions I had. The coffee maker has both drip and pod options. There is not a dishwasher so you will need tonhandeash dishes. We got paper plates to make it easier when our group was larger. There are several stores in the area for groceries but I recommend getting most before you get to Leakey as they will be cheaper.

Wonderful place filled with colorful local artists’ works. Brackettville is a gem and so is Anne’s place.

My only thing to comment on is the kitchen. There is not a lot of pots or pans or gadgets in the kitchen so if you are planning on cooking make sure you think about all the possible things you could need and bring them. The house was great! AC was amazing! Yard is really nice because it is fenced in. Wonderful pool. Very quiet at night so very peaceful! I would stay here again!

This is our second stay, and we will definitely be staying there again. Everything was wonderful, and Doyle goes above and beyond to make his guest feel welcomed.

We loved it. Especially because we were able to hangout with our family there. Definitely will rebook

such a beautiful place, exceeded our expectations, it was very clean and tidy and in a nice secure area. love that we had restaurants and options to explore as well. Marcos was also a very helpful and respectful host. definitely would recommend booking if visiting acuña or nearby!

Patricia was an amazing host! So kind and friendly, always attentive to our needs. The cabin was incredible - super clean, spacious, and comfortable. It was so cozy! And the price was great too. We’ll definitely be back!

Cabin fit most of our needs. Peaceful surroundings with lots of wild turkeys and deer. We found 3 different water areas that were enjoyable…1 is walking distance and about 3ft in depth at its deepest, other 2 are a very short driving distance and about the same depth at the deepest. Kitchen has basic items so bring additional seasonings/baking sheets/etc if you plan on doing a lot of cooking. Blanca was quick to respond to all of my questions. The cabin is on a ranch with other homes surrounding it but you won’t even notice; all you hear are the birds and deers calling.

Excellent spot. Was even gifted some cacti clippings which was super thoughtful.

Erica’s place was perfect and peaceful! Erica was very friendly and always responded! We can’t wait to go back!

We really enjoyed our stay. Great spot on the south Llano river for swimming. Very responsive hosts and great back porch for cooking out. Would go back if we were going through the area.

Beautiful house and the host was very attentive to our needs. We will definitely stay again when we come back. The price was great for the accommodations we had. Very good location anything you might need is just around the corner
