Morriña is a recently renovated house (2019) on the banks of the Miño River, where the water ‘crashes’ against the house’s veranda. It has two exterior bedrooms, each with its own ensuite, and a spacious living room with a fireplace and a veranda overlooking the river on the upper floor. A kitchen with a dining area and a toilet, with access to the courtyard and the veranda, on the ground floor. A great deal of attention has been paid to lighting and comfort. Fogar das Buxainas is a family project that was born in 2025 and gives name and life to a story told by my grandmother. Fogar das Buxainas means Home of the Spinning Top, because the owner of the house used to make spinning tops for the children of the village of Arcos. Thanks to this man's generosity, they could play and have fun in those difficult times.

Miguel between both rivers in the municipality of Ponte da Barca, geographically within the territory of the Peneda Gerês National Park.
