It felt like home when we returned after 6 six years. The place of Laurence & Jorge is in line with the pictures and the view is amazing. The house has everything you need, we really loved the mattresses and the pillows. The house is surrounded by a large garden, and we liked the privacy and the fruit trees in the garden. Getting into the house is easy and communication is perfect. We will definitely return again! We recommend to do some groceries before you arrive, the nearest supermarket is a 15 min drive away. Reservei o espaço para uma despedida de solteiro. Posso afirmar que todas as 11 pessoas ficaram extremamente contentes com a casa, disponibilidade do sr. Marcos e restante equipa, limpeza, comodidades e principalmente a localização da casa. Era exatamente o que procurávamos, para o tipo de férias que queríamos fazer. Fomos sempre muito bem aconselhados, informados, bem recebidos, não nos faltou nada. Uma terra linda, com atividades e locais de visita obrigatórios. Uma boa relação preço-qualidade para quem procura um bonito refúgio da vida de cidade. Muito obrigado. Voltaremos.

Was een heel fijne, rustige en vooral mooie locatie. Weg van de drukte, maar toch niet ver als je iets nodig hebt. En Silvio was heel vriendelijk en gastvrij. Een heel goed verblijf gehad!

This was one of the most breathtaking views I’ve ever had at an Airbnb. The scenery was stunning, and the setting felt wonderfully secluded yet still just 15 minutes from the nearest supermarket (via a charming, winding road). The house was very comfortable and included a lovely pool — a perfect spot to unwind and take in the beauty around. Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway.

This was a wonderful stay that offers you the best of both worlds. A quaint, peaceful rural home yet driveable to bigger tourist areas. Jose was such a welcoming host and we appreciated our arrival treats and his graciousness even with our late arrival. The history to the home is unique and adds another layer of warmth to the stay. The home was clean and the beds comfy. The shower had good pressure and a good supply of hot water. It has a functional kitchen as well as a grill outside that we made good use of. The pool was absolutely lovely after a long day of touring. We enjoyed evening games of euchre in the loft area but note that even if you aren’t tall, remember to duck as there’s a low beam. We highly recommend this stay and would return without hesitation!

Están siempre disponibles y buscando satisfacer cualquier deseo o necesidas que pudieramos tener. La casa es realmente peculiar y especial, llena de historia y bonita decoración, antiguedades y detalles exquisitos. Niños y adultos hemos estado tan cómodos con la piscina, el clima, la barbacoa, el mobiliario exterior,... que hemos disfrutado más la casa que las obligadas visitas turísticas de la ciudad e la zona. Мы провели в этом доме несколько замечательных дней и остались в полном восторге! Дом очень чистый, ухоженный и уютный, видно, что за ним действительно заботятся. Всё продумано до мелочей — в доме было много полезных вещей, которые делали жизнь комфортнее и удобнее. Отдельное удовольствие — это просторная терраса с потрясающим видом. По утрам мы завтракали на свежем воздухе, наслаждаясь тишиной и красотой вокруг. Всё вокруг было очень тихо и спокойно — идеальное место, чтобы отдохнуть от городской суеты. Хозяева — отдельная благодарность! Очень доброжелательные, внимательные и всегда готовы помочь. С ними было легко и приятно общаться. Этот дом стал для нас настоящим уютным уголком, и мы с радостью вернёмся сюда снова!

From the moment we arrived , Alexandra welcomed our family and made us at home. The establishment is incredibly designed, unbelievable views and smells of fresh flowers. Leur gentillesse, leur envie de partager … Nous avons adoré ce studio (assez grand quand même) perché sur les hauteurs avec une vue MAGNIFIQUE La confiture de Cécilia, et leur porto un délice Je le recommande fortement pour un séjour au calme et profiter de la région et ses paysages comme il se doit !

The view here is incomparable! The views over the Duoro River are amazing. It’s so close to wineries and winery tours too. There’s a supermarket close by with all you’ll need. It was hot the day we arrived and the pool overlooking the valley was pristine and oh so refreshing! Our host did a great job of communicating and made us feel right at home. I could have stayed here a lot longer!

A estadia correu incrivelmente bem. Estavamos com expectativas elevadas, mas conseguiu superar as mesmas. A casa está muito bem localizada e a decoração é maravilhosa! Por mim, o João e a Debora são impressionantes como anfitriões, não deixaram nada ao acaso e sempre disponíveis para ajudar. A repetir com toda a certeza!

When we first saw Mario’s place and the fact it was a perfect five stars from all previous guests - it was difficult to believe. But we immediately upon arrival understood why this was a perfect 5 stars…this is an incredibly special property - from the streams, waterfalls, history as an olive press, trails, peacefulness - this place was absolutely one of a kind. All in our group agreed this place, of all the places we’ve stayed in the world, was truly truly special….if we could give more than 5 stars - we would. Mario and Cila were fantastic hosts and incredibly responsive and the amenities and nice touches throughout made us feel right at home - better than home. Such a wonderful stay.

The place was spectacular and was very well maintained and clean. The breakfast provided was sumptuous and plentiful. On the whole was a very pleasant and comfortable stay.

A beautiful house in a great location with a wonderful view from the terrace, with a very nice natural pool, but a bit cold because of the constantly fresh water. The neighborhood is very quiet and welcoming. We were a bit unlucky because of the wildfires. So we had to leave 2 days early to be sure to get to the airport and catch our plane. Irene was very friendly and open hearted and took great care of the house and pool. We can fully recommend this villa.

Estadia maravilhosa, fim de semana com amigos numa casa muito espaçosa, limpa e muito muito bem decorada. O espaço exterior também é incrível, a piscina tem um tamanho bem razoável e uma vista muito bonita. Foram muito simpáticos e prestáveis durante todo o processo, sem dúvida a repetir!!

Local calmo (era o que pretendíamos), casa excelente, vistas, espaçosa (dentro e fora/jardim), imensos extras/prendas do anfitrião, que foi impecável. Recomendo e possivelmente regressamos com temperaturas mais quentes.
