At the end of Estonia, in Kossa, time passes differently and peace and quiet take on another dimension. There is nowhere to go - 800 meters to Lake Pabra and on the other shore of the lake is already Russia. You can see moose, wild boars, foxes and border guards, otherwise you are completely on your own. At night, with clear skies, the Milky Way comes so close that you feel part of it and you can hear your own heartbeat. Winters are snowy and cold - but the house is warm. The boathouse is located on the Alūksne Lake/ city centre. There is walking trails, cafes, swimming spots, sports field, a children’s playground, the Alūksne Castle Park and historical objects within walking distance. There is free parking spaces and bicycle rental. We offer experience, not comfort!

Our house is a 5-minute walk to Alūksne Park and Lake, a 10-minute walk to the city center.
