A Perfect Family Getaway in Lagos! We recently spent a week at this beautiful villa in Lagos with our family, and it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how spacious and immaculately clean the property was. There was plenty of room for everyone to relax, whether inside the villa or out by the pool. The highlight for us was definitely the pool area—it offered a stunning view that made every morning coffee and evening swim feel like a luxury experience. The outdoor space was peaceful and well-maintained, making it the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the sunshine. Ursula, our host, was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout our stay, which made everything smooth and enjoyable. Her warm hospitality really added to the experience. The location was great too—quiet and private, yet just a short drive from the beaches and town centre. We felt completely at home and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I cannot thank Carmen enough from booking to arriving! We were a group for a hen party and Carmen’s could not have helped more by sending us recommendations for restaurants and also booking taxis. The villa was great and really secure with plenty of room. The pool was great fun and there are plenty of extras that Carmen can sort! If you are looking this the place to book!! Great location, beautiful property and lots of space!

We stayed here with my wife and our two young kids, and it was exactly the kind of peaceful countryside escape we were hoping for. The house itself was spotless and incredibly well-appointed — from the basics like coffee, tea, and sugar to thoughtful extras like shampoo, body wash, plenty of towels, and even laundry soap. It really felt like everything had been considered to make our stay comfortable. The setting is just beautiful, surrounded by farmland, with wildflowers in the air and the occasional soft sound of sheep bells in the distance. It was so quiet and serene, a perfect place to truly unwind. Our kids loved the pool and games room, and the strider bikes were a huge hit — such a great touch for little ones. Francisco was a fantastic host. He made us feel welcome right away and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommend it if you’re looking for a peaceful, family-friendly getaway in the countryside

Lovely and peaceful stay and a perfect location to explore the amazing area in and around Tavira, a truly underrated part of the Algarve. The house is perfect for a small family. Very chilled, off the beaten path. Great stay and super easy!

What a slice of heaven on the outskirts of Faro. A beautiful garden, stunning views and lovely terrace for us to sit and enjoy the beautiful sunny weather. A true hidden gem, they also serve the most unreal breakfast with fresh ingredients sourced locally and from their own garden. Alex & Monique gave us the best recommendations, from restaurants to more private beaches. We had an amazing stay and would highly recommend!

We had a great week at this Vale do Rei. Quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of the Algarve, surrounded by eucalyptus and lands that Christiane cultivates with love. The place is perfect (even better than in the photos and much bigger than it looks). Very well equipped, fresh and subtly decorated. The bedding is comfortable. Suitable for children (we were there with our 4 year old daughter). Common spaces further enhance the experience. A car is essential; nevertheless, you will find everything you need at 10min, in the village located at the bottom of the valley. Christiane is infinite kindness and availability. His sense of detail and warmth make us feel like friends of family. Another huge thank you for everything.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Ahua Portugal, where our host Anne guided us with thoughtful local tips and quick responses. Nestled on a peaceful hillside above Seixe Valley, the modern house had every comfort we needed and felt like the perfect retreat. We were deeply inspired by Anne’s dedication to the land. She has led a reforestation project across her 18-hectare estate, planting over 30,000 cork trees to restore the forest after wildfires. Tip: Do plan to bring a reliable car. The unpaved access roads are best navigated with a vehicle that has good clearance. If you’re seeking a serene, private getaway with a caring, responsive host deeply connected to her land, Ahua Portugal is an exceptional choice! Five stars all the way, and thank you, Anne!

Awesome stay this place! The location was perfect—everything was super walkable, and the hosts were really responsive with great restaurant tips, you must visit the garden & green room. Just a heads-up: it’s right in the middle of the nightlife, so you hear music from the bar next door until about 2am. But overall, it was a great spot and I’d definitely recommend it!

Sandras place was amazing, its right on the beach and a 30 second walk to the restaurants. It was amazing waking up each morning to the sound of the sea, the place has 3 terraces that you can lounge on and the view from the hot tub on the roof is one not to miss. The kitchen is well layed out with all you need if you want to cook. Sandra was very helpful via text if we ever needed her and she gave us recommendations of where to eat etc. We will be returning to stay again for sure.

Actually, so much has already been written about this great Airbnb. We agree with ALL positive reviews. If you are planning an individual holiday in the Algarve, you should book here. It was fantastic. Our life in the almost 2 weeks took place mostly outside. It is so nice to enjoy the first coffee/tea on the roof terrace in the morning or wine in the evening. Our 2nd favourite place was the courtyard with kitchen counter. We loved having breakfast here and enjoying the affogato in between. We had planned not to cook. However, it was so much fun in this well-equipped kitchen. So, there were small dishes or salads in the evening. Restaurants, the small market hall, the local grocery stores and 2 discount stores are within walking distance. We liked Silves very much. Absolutely loved my stay here! The house is full of charm and character: bright, stylish, and instantly makes you feel at home. The location is perfect: peaceful, yet close to everything you might need. Inside, the place is fully equipped with all the essentials… and yes, even a blender! It’s the kind of place where every little detail feels thoughtfully taken care of. Highly recommend, I’d love to come back!

Unique location right on the beach, very nice interior, incredible view! We were happy about our Oropax, because you could also clearly hear the surf at night. Several good restaurants can be reached by car in a few minutes. Highly recommended, we will be back for sure!

We have stayed in Vilamoura/Quarteria for over 10 years, this time we returned with our 10 month old son so we wanted to stay somewhere that suited our needs a bit better than a typical hotel/apartment and this hidden gem did not disappoint. The villa was perfect (maybe a little bigger than expected from photos) & I couldn't recommend it enough. Perfect location to Vilamoura marina with just a short walk, cant believe we haven't come across it sooner. We will defo be back! Loved it.

The Lemon Lodge is tucked away in the mountains, providing a lovely and peaceful retreat away from the main bustle. That serenity comes with the trade-off of being a nice drive away from town up some challenging roads but you can get the hang of it after once or twice. Definitely need a rental car, mid-size is even better. The house itself is stunning and really well designed. Kitchen has everything you need. We cooked a lot on the grill in the back. Would have liked screens on the windows to let some fresh air in, as bugs up there can be tricky.

Our stay at this fully equipped Oceanview Villa in Albufeira was absolutely phenomenal! It is a true gem, perfectly situated just a short walk from the Albufeira Old Town. The breathtaking ocean views from the balcony and rooftop terrace were a highlight, making every sunrise and sunset unforgettable. The pool was pristine and inviting, ideal for relaxing after exploring the beaches all day and the charming streets of Old Town. The villa itself is spacious, modern, and impeccably clean, with a fully equipped kitchen that had everything we needed to prepare meals. High-speed Wi-Fi, air conditioning, stylish decor and cozy vibe. The host was incredibly responsive, offering local recommendations and ensuring a seamless check-in. Perfectly located for both beach access and exploring the Algarve, this villa is a dream for couples or families. I can’t recommend it enough, we are already looking forward to our next visit!

We had a great holiday at Miguel in Silves and the kids loved it! The house has plenty of space (we were 5), was very clean and bright and has amazing views. You can walk around the old city from the house. Very nice coffees for breakfast and restaurants for dinner. There are plenty of activities for kids around. Miguel answered to our questions always very quickly and shared recommendations with us. Also very lucky with the weather, the beaches were wonderful and we could enjoy some time in the swimming pool. We will definitely come back! Thanks Miguel!

Joan & Barry went above and beyond for our family. They both were very welcoming and made us feel right at home. Their villa was fantastic and the perfect place for our family. This is clearly a family home and a great place for us to spend our first family holiday with our baby. Beautiful villa and scenery. Would go back again and recommend to anyone!
