Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Almira Township

Perfect location and a wonderful host! Far enough away from downtown for privacy, but close enough where it’s easy to get to everything (downtown Traverse City, Old Mission wineries, etc) also there’s a very nice walking path in the back, which is a great way to start the morning. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay in this beautiful house! It's even better in person than the photos - and the photos are pretty great! Perfect location - peaceful and secluded but not far from anything. Melissa was amazing and communicated quickly when any question arose - we were able to check in early and check out late which was an awesome benefit with wine in the car! The amenities are perfection: such a well-stocked kitchen and a pristinely clean bathroom. The bed was so comfortable and the character throughout this lovely old granary really made it a stand out. The location is central to many wineries, breweries and great restaurants - we never felt far from anything but it was so quiet and peaceful to be surrounded by fields and so much green! The hot tub was an amazing bonus and we used it on an unexpectedly cold May night. This was our 2nd stay and it was an extended one. Carol is always responsive and warm. We were up there for the last 3 weeks of IAA and had family coming in and out of the area. Working with Carol in advance, so she was aware of our plans, we were able to have grandparents join us for a performance weekend, friends over to get ready for Morp, and plenty of space to re-pack the dorm room for storage and returning home! We were also able to easily work remotely. I honestly hesitate to gush too much about this place - but Carol deserves it! This will always be our go to play to stay when we’re up visiting the Academy!

We loved our stay at the Hoxie Homestead. The location was central to all of northern Michigan’s cute towns and beaches. The property was clean and well laid-out. Loved the decor, and the master bed was super comfy and soft. The hot tub and sauna were perfect. We would certainly stay again.

Our stay in Interlochen at John’s place was great! The hosts went above and beyond our expectations and provided board/card games, pre-chopped wood for the fire pit, and a variety of snacks. The kitchen was fully stocked and the bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and spacious.

We came up for my bachelorette weekend, actually found this place as a last minute deal when our first place fell through. The house was beautiful, and everyone had plenty of room. We were able to check in early and the host was very responsive and kind. I would definitely stay here again if given the opportunity!

I absolutely loved my stay at this charming studio! It had everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing solo retreat. The setting is incredible - right on the water. The views were breathtaking, especially at sunrise, and the private sandy beach made it feel like a hidden oasis. The landscaping is gorgeous , and the beachfront seating, fire pit, and beach toys made it easy to unwind and enjoy. The patio was a perfect spot to relax with a view and peaceful atmosphere. The owners were so kind and welcoming. It felt tucked away, yet still close to everything. Truly the best of both worlds. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, and relaxing stay with stunning setting.

My partner and I’s stay at Jeffrey and Holly’s suite was outstanding. The space felt incredibly homely, with cozy decor and thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. It was spotless and well-equipped with snacks, coffee, beach amenities, you name it - and we loved using their kayaks for exploring Silver Lake. They were friendly and provided smooth check-in instructions. The price for the area far beats any hotel we could have booked considering how comfortable, clean, and private the unit was. As other reviews said, mechanical noises and footsteps can be heard, but this did not bother us at all. We loved this unit so much, we will probably check the availability for our next trip to TC. This was hands down the best AirBNB we’ve ever stayed at. Highly recommend!

Heather's place was easily accessible. The listing had everything I needed for a lovely weekend at Walloon Lake. It was also very walkable to the waterfront and other things in the town, such as restaurants and the General Store. Great place to stay!

Lauren’s place was perfect for us to stay at when we had a wedding weekend. She was responsive and we had no problems! Recommend!

We had a great stay for a winter ski trip. 20 min to Boyne highlands. Airbnb itself is very well stocked and well maintained. Host was responsive. One thing to keep in mind is there is a steep staircase to get to the unit that I imagine may not be suitable for all.

This was a great overnight rustic stay. The cabin was clean, cozy and peaceful. Host was responsive and answered all our questions. Stores are a bit of a drive away, so make sure you bring what you need for the night. Highly recommend and would love to stay here again.

We had a wonderful time on our stay at this cozy cabin. It's a big win among the younger (13-11yo) family members. A "must stay here again" was the consensus. A great place to stay with a country feel. Comfortable sleeping and sitting areas. Nice little kitchen perfect for quick meals. Large bathroom and great decor throughout cabin. Great outside games available to keep the family busy.

Very clean! Appreciated modern and fully equipped kitchen. Nice little table and chairs for my morning coffee just outside the door. Wonderful backyard! The firepit is nicer than some places I've been. This cabin is on a dirt road in a little neighborhood. Sort of private. Pretty quiet. Surrounded by many tall pines, walkable to trail head. Will visit again.

Had an amazing time while here. Kinda had plans but we just went out and explored. The blueberry muffins were perfect, house was great and gave us everything we needed for a relaxing getaway weekend.

Chris was a wonderful host at the Hygge Traverse City Cabin - very responsive even in the late hours of the night. Truly a memorable experience staying here, would recommend to anyone who is considering a stay in the Traverse City area.

Perfect cabin in a secluded location with nice river access. Would stay here again. Erica was proactive with communication and very quick to respond! We had a nice early check-in that was really appreciated. Cabin EXCEEDED our expectations! Perfect for the four of us with plenty of room.
