A wall of windows brings nature and natural light pouring into the space, and a fully-equipped kitchen and European bathroom provide modern comfort. Less than 4 miles outside of E-ville, it comfortably sleeps 2 adults and offers a chic and romantic setting for a couple to hide away with easy access to downtown. 4x4 a must in the snow, or simply park at the foot of the driveway. Cheerful 3 bedroom cottage on the Allegheny River

We built the summer cottage in 2006, for a summer home stayed on. We lived in the cottage 8 years when we wanted a bigger house. We love it year around. We are isolated with 3 neighbors (not close) and the river at our front door. Good boating, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, fishing, swimming , hiking, bird watching (with a eagle nest across the river). December through February, it is best if you come with 4 wheel drive. Having said that , we keep the road plowed and the hill sanded.

The Whittled Duck River Camp property features 200 feet of river frontage, a deck overlooking the Clarion River and everything you need for a peaceful retreat. The cabin is located upstream from both Clear Creek and Cook Forest State Parks, 15 min from Loletta and next door to the Allegheny National Forest. Here you will find quiet and seclusion while staying close enough to enjoy all the recreational opportunities you love! Landline can be used by guests unable to get cell coverage.

This cabin is a great place for a family getaway in the Allegheny National Forest. It is easy to access on the main road, but still gives you the feel of the forest. It sits and overlooks the Allegheny River channel, in the summer you can watch fire flies on the island behind the cabin while you listen to the toads and bullfrogs sing. The river channel provides many opportunities to see wildlife such as ducks, eagles, deer, beavers, river otters, turtles and much more.

Well-behaved furry friends can stay at the cabin for a fee of $25 per pet (max 2). During the winter months we highly recommend using vehicles with 4WD/AWD to access the property.

Unwind in the evenings around the fire pit, or relax on the spacious covered porch while listening to the calming sounds of the forest.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place located on the Allegheny River. Stay for hunting and fishing trips with friends. Bring your boat and launch it right in front of the cabin. Get your supplies at the local Trading Post (fire wood, groceries and more). Bring your ATV and enjoy the trails only a few miles away from the place. You have more guests?
