Access: 2.5 km from the village of Melides, where you can buy all the necessary consumer goods at the Market and Minimarkets, as well as shops, cafes and restaurants.

Located near the historical town Silves, in a area with beautiful nature surrounding it. It has a NATURAL SWIMMING POOL, swim and relax in the clean swimming area while watching hovering dragonflies, butterflies and all the magic of a natural swimming pool. In 2015 the house was completely renovated with an extension built using straw bales that keeps the house cool in the summer an warm in the winter. Monte Carpe Diem

Monte Carpe Diem is a property with 2.5 hectares (6 acres) located in Baixo Alentejo with a distance of 1km (0.6 miles) from Garvão and 13km (8 miles) from Ourique. As the name implies, we seize the day by enjoying the calmness of the countryside, the landscape, superb sunsets and amazing starry skies. To the west you can enjoy the Alentejo coast, and to the south the Algarve where we find the most magnificent beaches.

Small independent en-suite. The kitchen is shared with two other bedrooms, the garden and swimming pool. Kitchen equipped with microwave, gas stove, toaster, refrigerator, oven, coffee maker and kettle. There is also a portable barbecue shared with two more bedrooms. Breakfast included between June and September. The accommodation is not suitable for babies or toddlers -5 years of age. Important: read house rules.

This refuge is in the middle of a large forest of cork oaks, with more than 30 hectares, with many paths for pleasant walks, watching many varieties of birds, several places to practice Yoga, or simply contemplating the cork oak forest or the horizon. Here you will certainly be happy during your stay !!! If you want a long stay and need to work, I can provide an internet router.
