Castelluccio house This is a comfortable, roomy house in a beautiful green setting. It has large windows and a big front patio, full of flowers, overlooking the mountains and the valley below. It’s in a totally quiet rural setting, only 10 minutes drive into town. It’s one of the most peaceful settings we’ve stayed; it was wonderful to sleep so deeply. One issue to be aware of is the heating system (it was still chilly when we were there in early May). It’s good if you are familiar with making fires in a fireplace or wood stove, as this actually heats water pipes that control the radiators in the rest of the house. This is a property that shows the care and love of the owners, and the host is very responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Siamo stati ospiti della proff Filomena nella primavera che sboccia. La sua casa è immersa in un piccolo parco recintato in cui convivono alti pioppi e alberi da frutto. Magnifiche giornate soleggiate ci hanno accompagnato alla scoperta del Parco e un caldo focherello ci accoglieva ristoratore al rientro, insieme alle leccornie che la nostra host ci aveva lasciato nel più puro spirito di ospitalità. L’atmosfera è magica! La nostra cagnolona Cora, ammaliata, ha apprezzato i croccantini lasciati per lei e si è goduta una grande libertà protetta! La casa è perfettamente attrezzata sia per soggiorni brevi che lunghi. Pulitissima e super accogliente. La posizione è invidiabile sotto ogni aspetto e la conoscenza del territorio di Filomena ci hanno fatto godere al massimo quel poco tempo che avevamo preventivato, ma abbiamo già prenotato per il viaggio di ritorno per un soggiorno più lungo. Filomena ci ha offerto davvero un mondo incantato e ricco di affettività! Grazie e a presto!

Ogni parola risulterebbe superflua per descrivere la disponibilità e la gentilezza di Marco, un livello di accoglienza raro e quando ne abbiamo avuto bisogno, si è dimostrato immediatamente pronto ad aiutarci, molto più di quanto fosse in suo dovere. Per non parlare della location, fondamentalmente è una semplice casetta di campagna, poi esci, ti accomodi al tavolino sotto al gazebo posto nel giardino ed è qui che capisci cosa ha di speciale questo luogo. Puoi godere di una vista strepitosa che da un lato si affaccia sulla vallata che poi conduce al vicino borgo di Corleto Perticara, dall'altro distese di boschi e montagne Che dire, se cercate un po' di pace, qualche giorno lontano dallo stress quotidiano è questo il luogo che fa per voi. Casa molto comoda, ben fornita e davvero pulita. Proprietaria gentile e disponibile. Il luogo è facile da trovare. Calciano non offre molto (a parte paesaggi stupendi), ma è un buon punto per esplorare la zona. In ogni caso, ci siamo trovati benissimo

Il nostro soggiorno presso la casa di Mary è stato molto piacevole. L'accoglienza è stata calorosa e cordiale. Il comfort ed il calore della appartamento ci ha fatto sentire davvero a casa. L'atmosfera è accogliente, semplice con un bellissimo stile. Non ci è mancato nulla! torneremmo volentieri ;)

Spectacular views from this Airbnb, especially at night on the balcony. I really enjoyed my stay at Pierfeancesco / Antonello’s place. The kitchen was very useful because a lot of the restaurants were all booked during the weekend I visited Castelmezzano. Parking was challenging. But Pierfeancesco provided detailed instructions and a video. There are a lot of steps to climb in Castelmezzano to get to this Airbnb, so I recommend you find the place first and then bring your heavy luggage on a 2nd trip. Otherwise, I had a wonderful experience staying at Pierfeancesco / Antonello’s Airbnb. I definitely strongly recommend.

This Airbnb is a DREAM. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Iris and Milena will welcome you like family — so even if it’s your first time in Italy, you’ll feel safe and at home the entire trip! They offer a complimentary shuttle to and from the property if you arrange, which is SO rare in Matera, where parking can be a challenge. It’s the most premium Airbnb experience I’ve had in Italy. 🇮🇹 The views in the place: Absolutely STUNNING. Every room opens onto a picture-perfect backdrop. The home has two bathrooms, air conditioning, & every hotel-level amenity you could want, you can really tell the hosts have hospitality experience. 🌅😍🏩🏨 My best friend and I are content creators & truly couldn’t believe how photogenic the entire place is. Not only the Airbnb:The TOWN TOO—It’s was such a dream for us! Milena’s brother works at the restaurant next door, incredible food and wine, and they’ll even bring it to the airbnb!
