Marie's cottage Cousin Jacks was a beautiful one night getaway for my partner, her too young siblings and myself. The kids loved it and want to go there again! The ammenities were great and it was impeccably cleaned and well maintained. The cottage itself is quite the historical site, and has a quirky charm, its also within short walking distance of other fascinating historical sites in the Moonta Mines region. We wish we could have spent longer there, the house has plenty of space and a huge backyard that would have been perfect for a longer stay.

Such a nice stay. We had everything we needed. The weather turned out atrocious but it didn’t matter. We were cosy and warm and watched the wild weather inside from the many windows. And better still we were surrounded by nature. I’d love to come back when the weather is better and we’d sit on the porch and look at the hills. Just stunning. We had great hosts, checking in was easy and communication was great. I’d highly recommend

perfect location right on the beach, 2 minute walk to the boat ramp, 8 minute walk to the jetty, pub, and main street. The shack had plenty of room with everything you would have at home, including games to keep kids and adults entertained. It is a shack holiday that we will definitely book again in the future.

This was a great find. Susie’s unit was very clean and comfortable. Susie had placed the heating on for us so it was very cosy when we arrived. Breakfast provisions provided also. Walking distance to town, it’s a great spot!

We loved our stay here!! Beautiful views down North Beach and a very quiet spot. A short walk down the dunes to the beach! We enjoyed a daily beach walk down to North Beach Kitchen for coffee and our kids loved the SUP board! House felt homely and spacious. Bedrooms upstairs and living downstairs worked well. Master bed mattress is very firm but my husband quite liked it. Kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed to self cater. Would recommend and hope to stay again in the future.
